Symphonic Power Metal full of energy, surprise, melody and aggression.This is a music of Porta Inferi. Listen a samples from our new album Another World on our web profiles and let yourself be drawn into our gates of hell ...The band started the at the beginnig of 2008, when it performed at a music contest called „Skutečná liga“ – we placed in first 50 from 300 performing bands. In 2009, we recored our first promo called Fire Road. The band has performed at many concerts and has appeared on festivals, playing with foreign bands like Theocracy (USA), Lord Bishop Rock (USA), Gun Barell (Ger), Tarchon Fist (It) etc but also with the top of the Czech rock scene – Arakain, Vilém Čok + Bypass , Dymytry, Dark Gamballe and many more.. At spring 2011 we released album Another World. In 2014 we released album Out of The Difference...
Album:
After two demos and two regular albums comes the light of the world in the third act of Nový Jičín metal pack Porta Inferi with a fairly apt name "Alive". Band members themselves describe their work as a progressive power metal, but when listening to not only this record can be said with certainty that this label is much more varied. His music combines elements of electronics, symphonic atmosphere, aggression and also a lot of energy that radiates from the recordings directly.On the album "Alive" from the opening tones of the rhythm of melody and rhythms. The very first kick-off "Dead Or Alive" leaves no doubt and is a very dignified entry that shows that Porta Inferi members are clearly and firmly in their tracks. The whole album is carried in waves of more melodic songs such as the more lyrical "Wings Of Dreams" to the slightly thrash elements contained in "Flight 103", which carries the story of the Lockerbie affair, "Flight 103" has the potential to become the biggest draw of the album, this song was also chosen to make a clip. Phoenix "is suitably interwoven with female vocals that complement well with the main vocal. After all, this method was not used by the band for the first time." Blacksmith "will lead us into a bit darker corners of the recording. World "excels in the most symphonic and electronic passages, but they accompany the album as a whole for almost every song.All in all, the album has had a steady gradient all the time and it is obvious that the band has moved back from the last album at least one step higher. Pleasant is also the number of tracks, where twelve is an ideal number, which is not a few, but not too artificially stretched. Compared to the previous albums, which were above average in our conditions, the news can be evaluated again more positively, the band fulfills its potential considerably and it will be good if Porta Inferi continues to have such an upward trend in the quality of creation.
