The legendary AOR band Bad Habit formed in Lund, Sweden in 1986 by Hal Marabel and now ex-keyboard player Doc Pat Shannon. They released their first album (mini-album) ‘Young & Innocent’ in 1987 and were actually the first band to get an independantly produced music video aired on Swedish national TV. The video was of their first ever single release ‘Need Somebody’.The band have since released 7 albums, their latest of them released in 2005, entitled [hear-say].

The very rare, CD-only, Sweden-only release “13 Years Of Bad Habits“, a compilation of melodic rockers BAD HABIT appeared in 2000 in Scandinavia.The compilation include BAD HABIT’s great 1989 album ‘After Hours’ complete, and bonus tracks, all remastered in the Nineties style (not brickwalled). At the time and for many years this was the only CD where to find this music remastered and the rare previously unreleased / bonus tracks.Sure, in recent time it was released ”After Hours [re-cap]” (we featured this album a few days ago) with all these tracks freshly remastered, including the bonuses.However this “13 Years Of Bad Habits” packs something exclusive… the legendary BAD HABIT 1988 mini album / vinyl only “Young & Innocent” on CD for the first time. And still is the only place to find these songs, as “Young & Innocent” never was officially reissued.A fantastic CD by Virgin Records Sweden Ab pressed on a gold disc, a highly collectible piece.
