Subway is a hard rock band from Balingen, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, that was formed in 1986.In 1990, the Swiss label Pink Seven Music took notice of the hard rock band. Their debut album, Dangerous Games, was recorded in Basel and subsequently released in Switzerland. After approximately 50 concerts at home and abroad, Subway released their second album, Hold on to Your Dreams, in Switzerland in 1992 on Phonag Records. It was produced by Fernando Garcia (Victory). The album reached number 37 on the Swiss charts. Thanks to their success in Switzerland and concerts in Germany, Subway secured a contract with the newly founded label GSE. Further releases in Germany, Austria, Japan, Korea and Taiwan followed. The band produced a video for the hit single Hear You Cry. This was followed by appearances at open-air concerts (with Bob Geldof, Jeff Healey, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, among others), a tour of Germany with Axxis and a European tour with Talisman (Jeff Scott Soto) at the end of 1993.In 1994, the album Taste the Difference was recorded in Los Angeles, USA. It was produced by Mikey Davis, who had previously produced bands such as KISS and W.A.S.P. During the recording sessions from January to March 1994 in Los Angeles, an earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale shook the city. Dozens of people died and thousands were left homeless. The band members survived the quake unharmed and dedicated the album to the victims of this natural disaster.Now, more than 30 years later, the band SUBWAY, with almost the same line-up as in 1992, has decided to rock the stage again together with their still numerous fans.

With their brand new album “Turn Back The Time” (released on February 19, 2026, Lucky Bob Records), the reunited band, now in its most successful lineup to date, picks up where their hit album “Hold On To Your Dreams” from 1992 left off and presents top-class AOR rock with a contemporary twist. In the 10 album tracks, Peach Stöckli (vocals), Bemy Bitzer (guitar), Tommy Strobel (drums), Don Martin Arnold (bass), and the only new addition, Robin Stöckli on the keys, deal with the journey through the ups and downs of life. From the youthful feeling of invincibility to the loss of a good friend (“Hear You Cry”), from selfdiscovery (“I Won't Change”) to the victories, failures, and scars that make a person what they are in the middle of their life (“Unbreakable”).All wrapped up in strong melodies and given a state-of-the-art production by Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Helloween, Angra, Unisonic, etc.), SUBWAY offer everything an AOR rock fan could wish for on “Turn Back The Time,” whose title track describes the band's musical journey through the past, from groovy rock songs to emotional ballads.
