DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG, the project made up of former ACCEPT members Udo Dirkschneider on vocals, Peter Baltes on bass and Stefan Kaufmann on guitar, have released a new single and video, "Face Of A Stranger" to be discovered below.DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG, which is completed by Udo's son Sven Dirkschneider on drums, Manuela Bibert on vocals and Mathias Dieth on guitar, had released its first single, "Where The Angels Fly", in September 2020. A third track, "Every Heart Is Burning", is due to be released on 28 May, again by AFM Records, followed by the 27 August release of all three songs on a CD entitled "Arising", also available on 12-inch vinyl and digitally.Last July, Udo ruled out the possibility of a reunion with ACCEPT. The singer, who last reunited with his former band in 2005 for a number of exclusive concerts, had raised the prospect of a working relationship with his bandmates in an interview. Speaking about the fact that both Baltes and Kaufmann appear on his band's latest album U.D.O., 'We Are One', Dirkschneider had said that it was, in a way, a reunion if they had worked together on the writing and had also said: "It's not possible to do a reunion with ACCEPT. There's only one guy left," referring to guitarist Wolf Hoffmann. "Sorry, but there will be no reunion with ACCEPT."

The concluding mastering was handled by guitarist Kaufmann at ROXX Studio (Solingen, Germany)."'It Takes Two To Tango' is strictly speaking only half of the song title, as the lyrics go on to say '(But) It Takes Six To Rock'.
