Formed in Altoona PA in 2021, Sweet Desire is a group of young, likeminded musicians dedicated to a revival of the sights, sounds, and experiences of a forgotten era of pop culture.Inspired by the sounds of the West Coast, British Blues, Psychedelic Pop, Folk and Country, Sweet Desire are a part of a sweeping resurgence in popular music and culture returning to ears and eyes of all ages.In early 2023 the band recorded their first single in Plymouth Michigan with Jimmie Bones of Kid Rock. Through this connection they had the opportunity to open for The Steve Miller Band in Detroit, and have since played with Quiet Riot, and Sponge.As of June 14th 2025, the band has released their debut album and are on the road playing shows across the east coast, so catch the jet stream, hitch a ride, and see for yourself a piece of the modern day countercultural movement.

SWEET DESIRE formed in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in 2021 ... has been steadily climbing the contemporary rock and roll ladder. Despite their young age (the oldest members being 22), they draw heavy inspiration from the sights, sounds, and experiences of 1960s and 1970s counterculture, hard rock, and blues. Bell bottoms and platform boots included! In June of 2023, the bandy released their first single featuring special guest Jimmie Bones from Kid Rock. Since then, they have had the opportunity to open for bands like Quiet Riot, Sponge, and The Steve Miller Band, among others.Now it’s time for the band’s self-titled debut “Sweet Desire“, and let me tell you folks, this album feels like written in the ’70s but recorded with modern technology. Remember when the rhythm guitar came out from one channel only, and then mixed with the whole band? Remember ‘stereo‘ at all? Wow these guys really know how to do it.Are these dudes in their early twenties? Really? “Sweet Desire” is like a long lost 2-inch reel-to-reel tape, and plenty of killer songs!
