Encapsulating a hard-rock high energy sound, the band finds a healthy balance incorporating heavy riffs, tasteful acoustic guitar, fiery guitar solos, and deep cutting lead vocals. The album’s title track “Menagerie” clocks in at just over eight minutes and is the perfect example of Ryder’s ability to navigate different rhythms, genres and musical ideas. The song fades into a beautiful slow-building bridge before transitioning into a memorable guitar-led harmony that brings us back home.
