Dream Wild was born in the city of Votorantim/SP in 1995, formed by guitarists Ildefonso and Marcos, who are still in the band today. In addition to these warriors, the band includes César on bass, Daniel on drums and Marcio on vocals. The band has released two studio albums and participated in Volume II of the Die Fight compilation, which features the biggest names in Brazilian metal. The quintet promises to be releasing their third unreleased album by the beginning of the second half of the year. Some sounds that are being played live are "Receptor", "Heroes Of Life" and "Reality Overdose".

Second full-length album.Today, a band that stated its activities yesterday can be releasing an album today. Of course such an idea is exaggerated, but the reality is that, unlike happened in the past, today is easy to record and release an album. Obviously it’s a Damokles sword problem: the band can reveal something amazing, or the lack of maturing time can put things down. But imagine a band that is on the road for 25 years, and only now is releasing its first full length (of course Demos, EPs and Singles where released in this mean time). Yes, this band has a name: DREAM WILD, from Sorocaba (São Paulo, Brazil), and the album has a pompous name: “Omen to Battle”.The musical work of the band is a mature form of traditional Heavy Metal of the 80s with influences inherited from Hard Rock of the 70s, US Metal and modern Heavy Metal as well. The perception of the fans will point them as a Heavy Metal band with clear influences of acts as SAVATAGE, MANOWAR and IRON MAIDEN, but with a fresh and savage energy and an identity that their long-time career allows them to bear. Rich in melodies and charming choruses, strong hooking melodies and everything the doctor said that’s good to the hearts and minds of the fans. What are you waiting for?“Omen to Battle” was recorded at Estúdio 8 at Tatuí (SP) under the guidance of the producer Iago Pedroso. The final result is a strong and defined sonority that has some organic feeling, but with everything on its due places. It’s a very good result, boosted by the presence of guests as André Tulipano (singer/guitarist of STEEL WARRIOR) on the vocals on “Revelations”, Leandro Caçoilo (singer of VIPER and CARAVELLUS, and who previously worked with ETERNA and SEVENTH SEAL) on the vocals on “Receptors”; and Joe Moghrabi on “Headbangers”. And the fine artwork of João Duarte depicts the concepts of the lyrics.On the songs, those who just look for very good music without caring for labels of genres or anything else will enjoy a very good time when dealing with songs as “Battlefield” (a strong 80s heavy Metal song with excellent melodies and strong presence of bass guitar and drums, due its more than 8 minutes, it shows an ample range of rhythms), “Pass Over the Opressor” (a more dynamical song with weight flowing from the great guitar riffs and solos), “Revelation” (this one depicts clearly as US Metal has a huge crush on their music, with fine vocal duets), “Headbangers” (the clear traces of Hard Rock and Power Metal are heard on its arrangements, and what great chorus), “Receptors” (another moment rich in melodies influenced by US Metal and Power Metal rhythms, with vocals and backing vocals working in a great way), and “Heroes of Life”. But the entire album is excellent.“Omens to Battle” deserves praise, and let’s hope that DREAM WILD will not take such a long time to release a new album.
