Style : Heavy Metal , Hard Rock
Country: Sweden
Audio : 320 kbps + all scans + Video
Size : 169 mb

Bio:

Five guys were sitting in a basement and shared a couple of beers, listening to old school Heavy Metal. In the middle of all joviality, they somehow felt nostalgic and a bit frustrated that various new productions could not measure up to the old pure masterpieces. They decided to do something about it and as a result, Ambush was born

Album:

Ask and you shall receive! Shortly after reviewing the single for Swedish act - AMBUSH I have been asked to take on their debut full-length, and it does not disappoint. Honoring their native land's ancestors and souls of inspiration including: OVERDRIVE, HEAVY LOAD, TRASH, BISCAYA, SILVER MOUNTAIN, MIDNIGHT SUN, and ZONE ZERO, AMBUSH deliver a mescaline induced intermixture of madness and viscous venom; a molotov cocktail of frenetic energy, high-octane speed, vicious momentum, and burning ambition.Their premiere effort for High Roller records, aptly called “Firestorm” due out in a month truly lives up to its namesake. Even though the exceptional new IRON SAVIOR album has faster amber, ample songs, including one called “Firestorm”, these Växjö's vigilant souls forsake the Teutonic terror for a more Northern hell-fueled aspiration and motor grinding inspiration. With the opening title track, clearly the “Neon Nights” notes are heir-apparent, but then as the album begins to spin in your head, instantly, you get a sense that these natural Swedish born thrillers aim to keep it closer to the heart of their heritage, hard, heavy, and honest. “Hellbound” is a tad bit toned down, and less ignited, but only to prepare you for the blistering “Don't Shoot (Let 'Em Burn)” for which they made a ingenuous video, replete and riddled with all things Metal. As I previously mentioned, Oskar's cadence characteristics are very similar to the mercurial vocalist Jonny Aune from TWISTED TOWER DIRE. Many of the tracks are mid-paced but in the old Swedish Metal style. “Close My Eyes” has attentive lyrics, but not enough passion to persuade. “Molotov Cocktail” is a bit more fomented and agitated, with wistful imagination. The mystical “Master Of Pain” trudges along with a ruse of consternation, betwixt contentious haunts which bewitch. This slower more plodding scheme is a solid reworking of the 2013 Demo track. I still have yet to have heard “Fading To Black”. Overall, the two selections from the single still remain the two-stand-out tracks; perhaps because they are the ones with which I am most familiar. If you appreciate the chastised youth approach of today who incessantly strive to bring back the glorious vinyl frontier of the '80s championed by such vibrant acts as ARMOR or RANGER from Finland, BLADE KILLER, MIDNGHT HELLION, VOLTURE, SPELLCASTER, from America, etc. then I say, “1,2,3…Semper paratus!” For the metal coup de main and sonic firestorm ambuscade is upon us, under cover of night.

Album:

Hailing from Sweden are Classic Metaller's, Ambush, with their 2nd album Desecrator. With an old school feel and delivery, Ambush have combined the sound of classic Accept and Painkiller era Judas Priest with power and fury coupled with soaring vocals that you might expect.Desecrator features 9 tracks that create a well rounded Metal album. Songs like the AC/DC fueled "Night of the Defilers", the "Fast As A Shark" meets "Painkiller" vibe of the pounding "The Chain Reaction" or the anthem like "Southstreet Brotherhood" are all can't miss Metal gems. Vocals by Oskar Jacobsson are also a focal point with Ambush, with Jacobsson channeling his inner Ralf Scheepers of Primal Fear and delivering the goods in all of his soaring ranged glory. "The Seventh Seal" is the adventurous and longest song on the album complete with several mood changes and reminded me a little bit of modern era Iron Maiden.Ambush have gone down a different Metal path than most of their other Swedish counterparts choosing the Classic Metal path. On Desecrator they were able to wear their influences on their sleeves and do this Metal form some solid justice. Musical performances are solid all around and production values are also strong. Heavy, powerful and melodic are just three words to sum up what Ambush are doing with their brand of Metal. Good stuff indeed.

Album:

Ambush are a heavy metal act out of Sweden that recently crept up under my radar. Their first album Firestorm channeled in a lot of raw energy from the traditional waves, while the follow-up Desecrator cleaned that up a bit. Their newest disc Infidel follows the path of their sophomore album but deals the deck in a smoother manner. The songs wind up having a greater anthemic feel, ultimately causing them to stand apart with stronger presence. In terms of more obvious ones, “Hellbiter” is the place to go. The frontman has such a concise delivery here, transitioning from the stomping verses to a sing-along chorus. Holding the power while doing that is his greatest strength. Signs of early Dream Theater without the progressive instrumentation is the best comparison I can make. Heavier tunes that grab the devil by the horns like “Demon Within” are also unique because of muscular lead execution. “Iron Helm Of War” has one of the greatest solos, surrounding the already fantastical feel with fret-board fire. The only track I can really complain about is “Yperite” just because of how heavy-handed it gets with the pinch harmonics. The bass presence is at its peak on that one, so I can’t slam it too much. “A Silent Killer” rings that in even better, blending it with intricate rhythms that reside in minor scales. The shift of tone from song-to-song is one of Infidel’s strongest features, especially for how focused they remain. If there’s an album the fully sold me on Ambush, this is the one. They’ve been churning out quality music since 2013, but this is where I believe they figured out their own formula. There’s a lot of melodies to sing along to, blistering solos and riffs to feast on, and most importantly, enough variation to hold your interest. Fans of Enforcer, Dream Theater, or Helloween should seek this out as soon as possible.Infidel will be released on March 13th, 2020, through High Roller Records.

Year : 2025
Style : Heavy Metal , Hard Rock
Country: Sweden
Audio : 320 kbps + front
Size : 101 mb

Bio:

In the middle of all joviality, they somehow felt nostalgic and a bit frustrated that various new productions could not measure up to the old pure masterpieces. They decided to do something about it and as a result, Ambush was born

Album:

Get your denim and leather jackets ready for AMBUSH and their Napalm Records debut Evil in All Dimensions, out September 5, 2025! Bursting with relentless energy, this monster captures the classic essence of heavy metal - championing the genre’s roots while setting a new benchmark for modern heavy music. Formed in 2013, AMBUSH quickly became a staple of the Swedish metal scene, delivering classic heavy metal vibes with a modern twist. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Judas Priest, Accept, and Iron Maiden, AMBUSH’s unique blend of traditional metal and fierce energy has earned them a dedicated fanbase around the globe. From fingernail-shattering riffs to screaming-solos and emotional lyrics, the Swedes emerged from the underground scene landing performances at Europe's most prestigious old school metal festivals like Muskelrock, and touring as a fan-favorite next to heroes like ENFORCER and COBRA SPELL.Marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their relentless quest for speed, AMBUSH are ready to rise to even greater heights with Evil in All Dimensions, and its explosive collection of high octane, riff driven anthems. The title track and opener perfectly delivers classic 80s heavy metal hooks with sleek, modern production. Taking listeners along a nightmare turned reality, this song kicks off with high energy drum grooves by Linus Fritzson and powerful riffs from guitar-virtuosos Karl Dotzek and Olof Engqvist. Bassist Oskar Andersson knows how to hypnotize the audience with his lines in the brooding “The Night I Took Your Life”, while "Maskinovka" is an anthem with a standout performance from vocalist Oskar Jakobssons. The track’s mid-tempo groove personifies the difficulties of standing up for truth in a world shaped by manipulation. But there is no rest for the wicked: whipping drums, sharp guitars, and high-pitched vocals, “Come Angel of Night”explores themes of reconciliation when the damage seems irreversible, culminating in a soaring solo that highlights the band's musical prowess. In addition to their undeniable talent to revive fast and glorious 80s headbangers, the Swedes also surprise with the gripping power ballad "I Fear the Blood”. It’s a song to pump your fist to, vacillating between themes of escapism and self destruction, amidst the battle against one’s inner demons. Founder Oskar Jakobssons screams his soul out in this heavy-hearted and honest masterpiece, which creates the perfect moment to wave your lighters in the air, passionately belting along.Evil in All Dimensions is undeniable proof of the band's unwavering passion and talent for the genre. With Napalm Records as their partner, they are primed to take the world by storm. The evil in this world can't hide – AMBUSH will take care of it with relentless heavy metal power!
