Album:
Strut is the upcoming tenth studio album by American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and arranger Lenny Kravitz, will be released on September 23, 2014. It will be the first release on Kravitz's own Roxie Records, with distribution by Kobalt Label Services. With "Strut", the new studio album by Lenny Kravitz will appear after three years break. It is rapidly and emerged from the gut. Kravitz remembers with "Strut" on the roots of the music for its own sake. The superstar returns to the Rock 'n' Roll back with Soul, devoted to the topic yearning in all its facets. These are feelings that Kravitz - as he says - so last felt when he still went to High School. Let him find the originality of his music. The inspiration for his new album "Strut" was Lenny Kravitz on the set of "The Hunger Games - Catching Fire". The shooting he found stimulating and exhausting, so that the mental balance all sorts of musical ideas went through his head. Actually, Kravitz had to do at that moment other than to make a record. However, after a few weeks he realized that he had to go into the studio as soon as possible. It just bubbled out of it. Instinct and pure inspiration. In the creative process of "Strut" in the studio Lenny Kravitz kept at this instinctive approach. He titled the songs intuitively, as soon as he had recorded the basic tracks. Also during the subsequent writing of the lyrics Kravitz named the pieces not what some songs brought some interesting twists. So "Happy Birthday" was originally from a 'Fuck you' attitude emerged and is now but one or> the <birthday song by Lenny Kravitz has become (in the tradition of the Happy Birthday song of the Beatles and Stevie Wonder). "Frankenstein", but who is a loving figure just a monster, was the basic idea of the song of the same name. The lyrics, however, is more metaphorical to misunderstood love. With titles like "Sex" and the pre-decoupling "The Chamber" Lenny Kravitz remains as crisp 50 years of his sexy image faithfully.
