Formerly known as Trauma.Hammered originated in Gorizia (Italy) towards the end of 2001 under the name of Trauma, an idea which came from Luca Cicuttin and Andrea Grasso. Soon Mario Manganelli (NIVP),arco Cicuttin (Luca's brother) and Andràs Csaszar joined the band.Trauma's line up remained the same until August 2003, when Mario left for one year for an exchange programme in the USA. In the following years, a number of upheavals saw the turnover of many members: Andrea left the group, Marco Falanga and Michele Guaitoli (Overtures) were temporarily signed up as bass and voice respectively and finally Alberto escovez was recruited too to replace M. Guaitoli as a singer. In the meanwhile the name of the band was changed to Hammered, considered more suitable to represent the genre and style developed over the years, which had become more personal.In 2006 Andràs came back as a singer and in January the band recorded the demo “2010... Live the terror”. This record marked the end of the first period in of the history of the group: after that, the group split because of some members moving for university.In Septemper 2007 Andràs and Mario (which had changed University and had moved closer) decided to set the band up again; Luca and Andrea joined them. The line up was then the one of the origins, with the exception of the drummer. In January 2008 the band found a very young and talented drummer: Alfredo Macuz. With this line up the band returned to its live performances activity in the area of Gorizia and in Slovenia and attended for two consecutive years the Opening Live Band competition in Trieste.At the end of 2009 Luca decided to quit the band. Adriano “Cocha” Crasnich was recruited to replace him.The band keeps making concerts and since the end of September 2010 is attending the recording of its first album.
