Crystal Project was formed in NY City in the late 1980s. The band was formerly known as Crystal Pistol. In order to be distinguished from another Canaidan metal band of the same name "Crystal Pistol", they changed band name to "Crystal Project" in the 21st century when the Canadian Crystal Pistol came out. Actually, this NY-based band was founded much earlier.This is a five-piece melodic rock band with the keyboardist. The band was submerged in history, which was a big regret. So today don't miss their extremely amazing song, that is every melodic rock fan's great harvest.During the late 1980s and the early 1990s, Crystal Project (here I use the band's newly changed name) performed live extensively, created and recorded songs actively. Though the band was not notable during those years and their songs seemed to be less-known in the past, but all their works are created and arranged on the high quality, filled with the essence of nostalgic melodic rock.

Thank god for making their epic works heard on today's music scene. Amazingly, the reissued record of Crystal Project includes two CDs. If all these songs were forgotten, that would be a big loss for ears. From the back cover of the album, Crystal Project came back. The members were no longer the long-haired rockers as what they were in the early 1990s, but the sparkle from this bright "Crystal" never fades on the melodic rock scene.The songs were all digitally remasted. Musically, Crystal Project perfectly made first-class vocals, massive harmonics, sparkling keyboards and splendid guitar works become all the greatest charms of their works. For whoever is fond of Heartland, Strangeways, Dare, Da Vinci (NOR), Triumph and the like, this album of Crystal Project is another desirable and essential choice.
