Nick Layton, lead guitarist and songwriter of the US Melodic Metal bands and Reign Of Glory, has launched a new project under the name MOONLIT MASQUERADE: their debut full-length album will be released in May 2026. As a teaser, the 3-track EP "Wreckage" will be released in December 2025, featuring the title track with vocals by Savatage, TSO and Circle II Circle singer Zak Stevens. This intense track, recorded with the help of Savatage/TSO/Metal Church drummer Jeff Plate and MSG/Dokken bassist Barry Sparks, evokes memories of Savatage classics like 'Chance', 'The Wake of Magellan' or 'Edge of Thorns'.Apart from the the title track, the two songs 'Deceiver' and 'Show Me The Way' (featuring Narnia singer Christian Liljegren), are exclusive collector's items and are only available on the limited edition cardboard-sleeve CD, which can only be purchased via mailorder. For fans and enthusiasts of Yngwie Malmsteen, Narnia, Dokken, McAuley Schenker (MSG), Savatage, Y&T, Melodic Metal, Neo Classical, etc.
