Nightwatcher is a Colombian metal band blending heavy and power metal influences, founded in late 2021 in Bogota.The band aims to revive myths, legends, and human experiences from Latin American and global contexts through oral storytelling.Nightwatcher formed with Juan Osorio on vocals, Carlos Silva (Tutto) on bass, David Sánchez on guitar, David Castro (Davinci) on drums, and Julian Zuleta on guitar. From the very beginning, the band has focused on forging its own unique sound, inspired by the classic essence of heavy and power metal, while incorporating elements from various rock and metal subgenres. This fusion has allowed them to craft a distinct and versatile style, with each song standing out with its own identity, making the band's repertoire rich and diverse.

The song portrays La Llorona not as a monster, but as a victim tormented by guilt and pain. Her cries in the night, searching for her lost children, reflect endless agony and heartbreaking remorse, with her wails becoming a haunting echo of her tragedy, pursuing those who cross her path.
