BIG SECRET was formed in 1989 by brothers Frank and Jan Achmann in Odense, Denmark. The band plays melodic rock, with a mix of AOR and hard rock, described as inspired by iconic bands like Toto and Journey.The band consists of: Frank Achmann (Guitar), Jan Achmann (Vocals), Michael Kristensen (Keyboard), Jesper Pedersen (Bass), Yenz Nyholm (Drums).The 5 talented musicians in BIG SECRET quickly gained attention, especially in Odense, where they won a local talent competition. They played several concerts and recorded a large number of songs, but the band broke up in 1994 without releasing their music.Now, many years later, BIG SECRET returns with their first official release in over 30 years. On 24 January 2025, the mini-LP ‘Big Secret’ will be released, featuring old recordings that have never before been available.Carefully re-mastered to give them an updated and modern feel without losing the original dynamics.
