Year : 2014
Style : Progressive Rock
Country: Sweden
Audio : 320 kbps + front
Size : 153 mb

Bio:

Swedish progressive-rockers Beardfish have been hard at work on the follow-up to 2012's 'The Void', and now they are pleased to reveal that their brand new eighth studio album '+4626-COMFORTZONE' will be released in Europe on the 12th January 2015.The band had this to say about the forthcoming album: "In this case the comfort zone is the invisible protective suit of negative thinking, almost like an entity of itself. It's been with you since birth: your parents and your teachers and your friends and your neighbours all teaching you the way the world works - this is how it is and will be and there's nothing you can do about it. The negative vibe is like a voice living inside of you, a companion through life. With time you start to like that voice and the place it takes you to: your comfort zone. I'm so sick and tired of it and I want to address it and maybe in that way start to work my way out of it"

Line-Up:

Rikard Sjöblom (vocals, guitar, organ, keyboards, synthesizer, accordion, percussion)
David Zackrisson (guitar, synthesizer, vocals, percussion)
Magnus Östgren (drums, percussion, [screaming] vocals, 2002-present)

Album:

The secret has been out for a while now. After nearly nine years apart, Swedish prog rock legends Beardfish are back. Songs For Beating Hearts is the first new music from Beardfish in nine years, but as its many magical moments unfold, it really is as if the band had never been away. With strong echoes of past glories but a whole new vibe of wistful wonderment, Songs For Beating Hearts is a glowing testament to the magic that happens when these four musicians join forces. From the dreamy melancholy of the opening Ecotone and the intricate opulence of five-part sprawl Out In The Open, to the prog-friendly pastoralism of bittersweet 11-minute epic Beating Hearts, and the sobering prog-noir of the closing Torrential Downpour, Beardfish have not just made their strongest work to date, but also their most emotionally resonant. Loosely held together by thoughts of love, loss, friendship and finality, Songs For Beating Hearts is the sound of four kindred spirits laying their hearts bare.
