Upon completing the writing of the first, self-titled After Infinity album, Szilagyi enlisted the help of some of his talented friends to bring his vision to life. Bassist Roi Partanen of Everfrost was brought on to record bass, while Gideon Ricardo of Woods of Wonders wrote the orchestrations. To further diversify the album, Szilagyi enlisted a number of accomplished vocalists, including Nitte Valo (Dreamtale, ex-Battle Beast), Mikael Salo (ex-Dyecrest, ex-Metal de Facto, ex-Everfrost), Leonard F. Guillan (ex-King Company), Stephen Baker (Frozen Factory), and Juanma Draven (Carved in Ashes). Finnish melodic power/heavy metal project After Infinity returns with its sophomore album, “Beyond Eternity”, expanding the foundations established with the band’s self-titled 2024 debut into heavier and more progressive territory. Formed in 2022 by guitarist, songwriter and producer Zsolt Szilagyi,known for his work with Dreamtale and Frozen Factory, After Infinity developed as a collaborative project built around Szilagyi’s songwriting and a rotating cast of vocalists rather than a conventional fixed vocal line-up. This approach gives individual songs their own character while preserving a recognisable musical identity across the record. Following the positive response to the debut, “Beyond Eternity” represents the next stage in the project’s development bringing together nine compositions shaped by melody, dramatic arrangements and an increasingly ambitious approach to songwriting.Release date: 23.10.2026.
