Beyond the Touch is a solo work by Joel Fernandes, a brazilian musician from the city of betim / Minas Gerais in Brasil. Having spent all of his previous years performing cover bands of some kind of styles from rock in roll and Heavy Metal bands, drew much of their various influences and personal life experiences to bring something that mixes varied sounds and messages of reflections,support and overcoming. In the ideology of the lyrics, it brings several tales and reports to all listeners at different times variety of our lives. Bringing in rock and heavy metal, he integrates influences from Punk, Gothic, Trash and several other styles in his songs, bringing different feelings to the listener.
Album:
The musician Joel Fernandes, after years dedicated to performing in cover and tribute bands, decided to focus on his early work, Beyond the Touch and his solo career. In his previous presentations, he dedicated himself to playing songs of bands like Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath, absorbing influences and personal experiences to create a "unique that blends different musical styles and messages of reflection, support and overcoming.In 2019,Joel released his two singles, ""Pray"" and ""Victim of the Night"", on the streaming, which were subsequently part of his EP of the same name, released in 2020, along with two new songs, ""Beyond The Sea of Stars"" and ""Fast and Higher"".The EP had only 500 physical units officially released, distributed among friends, fans and followers of his work.In 2021, Joel released his first full album, entitled ""One Life In a Second"" containing ten songs, nine of them unreleased and one song remastered.The album pays homage to the classic style of the 80's/90's and celebrates two great musicians of the music scene in Minas Gerais. With a wider sonority and a variety of ideologies and feelings, the work provides a deep immersion for the listener.The CD "One Life In a Second" was released independently by Joel himself Fernandes. His new album, "Strange Illusions", will be officially released on April 16, 2023, at Mister Rock in Belo Horizonte. Besides Joel's presentation, four other bands will also perform on the same night: Brightstorm, Sub Rosa, Ca6ttica and Seawalker. It will be a great night for music lovers, with a variety of styles and talented artists in one event.
