What to expect from a singer who grew up influenced by the great voices of heavy metal, AOR and Hard Rock 80s? How does a singer who drank at the source of R & B, Soul and Funk Music real, incorporates all these references without sounding dated? As yet, this same artist can associate all these cradle of inspiration to a wide experience singing J-Music and Anime Songs? The answer: “Rec / All”.The title translates all the rich and versatile repertoire of influences Rod Rossi, who managed to gather in the same album all synthesis of his own career as a singer. Rossi began his career as lead singer of Hard / Heavy in Thorn, launching a physical EP and later one in digital format CD with cameos from the likes of Ricardo Confessori (ex-Angra, Shaman) and Zack Stevens (Circle II Circle , ex-Savatage), way back in 2005. Three years later, he came to record “come Full Circle”, who would be the debut of his solo career. The disc was not released by a drastic change in his artistic career, “Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas”.It was the year 2008, Rossi had been invited to write to the Brazilian version of the theme of the famous Japanese design, and the Anime universe surrendered his voice and his talent. From there, the shows and invitations never stopped, and his career in the metal scene was temporarily interrupted. Later recordings of the themes of “Dragon Ball Kai” (2010) and “Knights of the Zodiac: Omega” (2012-2015), and presentations by all parts of Brazil, definitely consolidated the singer in the Anime universe. In 2014, with the experience and recognition acquired Rod Rossi formed the “Knights of the Zodiac In Concert”, alongside Edu Falaschi (Almah, ex-Angra) and two famous singers to record official themes of the famous Japanese anime in Brazil. The group has performed in homes as Carioca Club (SP), Music Hall (BH) and Anime festivals in Recife (PE) and Fortaleza (CE), to an audience of over 30 thousand people in a single weekend. And so follows, firm and strong, his career in anime circuit.But Rod Rossi needed to resume an old project, the launch of his solo career, now matured by years of experience and new musical influences. Thus was born “Rec / All”. Produced by Tribuzy, the debut album features a respectable team appearances, beyond Tribuzy own.
