Pocatello based rock band Savin’ Seymor.Members, vocalist and guitarist Brian, Jake on guitar, Jared on drums, Chris on bass guitar, and Cameron on keyboards started playing music together about two years ago.The five guys are former members of Something Stirring and 2 Pump Chump who were “not ready to give it up and looking for a new, diverse rock sound,” says Cameron.They write and perform mostly original music, though they do through a few covers into their live set every once in awhile.“We try not to get stuck in a groove, we try and keep it different,” Cameron says.They are inspired by bands such as Korn, Tool, Chevelle, Metallica and Slayer. Their next show will be at Duffy’s Tavern, 1304 N. Main St. in Pocatello on March 15 at 9 p.m.The guys have recorded one song and are hoping to have a demo out by this summer.
