Year : 2015
Style : Melodic Power Metal
Country : Australia
Audio : 320 kbps + all scans + Video
Size : 141 mb

Bio:

Drawing on classic influences such as Helloween, Ayreon and Iron Maiden, the new project Empires of Eden is a must-hear for fans of melodic heavy metal. While many albums bathe in the hype of greatness, yet fail to deliver the goods, Empires delivers 11 tracks of pure symphonic mayhem with irrepressible hooks and jaw-dropping performances. The monstrous production by Dan Quinlan (Deicide/Suffocation tour sound Australia) and stunning artwork by Oliver Lehmann combine to create a history-making metal masterpiece.Empires of Eden showcases an incredibly diverse collection of talent from some of metal’s finest performers. Created by guitarist Stu Marshall (Paindivision/ex-Dungeon) the epic is built on the foundations of Marshall’s music while providing a vehicle for three magnificent metal voices. Louie Gorgievski (Crimsonfire), Mike Zoias (ex-Transcending Mortality) and Chris Ninni (Sydney session vocalist) have been given free reign to bring their own power, influence and flavour to the project by writing their own melodies and lyrics.Originally, more than 20 songs were composed for the project. Of these, 11 have been chosen as the absolute A-list, ensuring a compelling listen from the first to the last. One of the standout features of the album is the monolithic ‘Black Endings/Echoes Of Oblivion, a nine-minute, orchestrally-based spoken word epic. Detailing the final days of the world and the rebirth of the human spirit, the piece will place the listener into an atomic wasteland with cinematic clarity and is narrated by acclaimed author Gun Arvidssen.Soaring vocals and shredding guitars, enhanced by the imposing presence of a 30-piece orchestra, mark Empires as the premier, refreshing, uncompromising release of 2009. The songwriting is second to none, and draws on nothing short of the best talent from many sources in the metal community.Songs Of War And Vengeance features performances by members of Vanishing Point, Dungeon, LORD, Thundasteel, Cerbeus (Japan) and Argument Soul (Japan), rounding out the global standard of musicianship to be found on this remarkable album. With a project as ambitious as accomplished as this, there is no doubt we are witnessing the birth of a new era Metal!

Album:

Empires Of Eden is the brainchild of Australian guitarist Stu Marshall who currently trades his wares alongside the mighty Ross The Boss in Death Dealer and “Empires of Eden” is the follow up to 2012’s “Channelling The Infinite”.Again Stu Marshall has enlisted the help of gust vocalists from around the world with each track being specifically written for each vocalist’s style. The vocalists are also much more involved than usual with this type of album in that they write their own lyrics and vocals melodies…So what sort of a mixed bag of tracks are on offer here…Things open with the classic Dio-era Sabbath flavoured Vanish featuring lead vocals from Rick Altzi (At Vance, Masterplan). Primal Fear’s Ralf Scheepers lends his screams to title track Architect Of Hope which could be a track from his main band. This is where things turn a bit dodgy in my opinion…Push The Limits is very disjointed, Taken is plain bad with George Call’s painful vocals and with Six Feet Under I don’t really get what Racer X’s Jeff Martin was trying to achieve…whatever it was he failed.Weaponize and Silent Hell to a slightly lesser degree work quite well as traditional thrash numbers and both feature relative unknown Brazilian vocalists.Ex-Riot vocalist Mike DiMeo helps end things in epic style with the highly atmospheric Pharoah. Not sure why MelodicRock Records are releasing this as there is nothing melodic or rock about this release. Empires Of Eden would have been much better suited by a more metal/thrash label.Definite mixed bags of songs and that’s where my problem lies with this. This is not something I’ll be drawn back to as it is too disjointed with so many vocal styles on offer…most of which don’t rest easy with me.

Album:

A seismic shift is happening in the world of heavy metal. "Guardians Of Time" brings together a rare coalition of some of the genre's most formidable musicians. This isn't a typical collaboration; it's a bold, creative venture that challenges the conventions of metal.Crossing genres of power metal, AOR and thrash elements, this album shows a deep creative input from a wide range of metal talent."Guardians Of Time" is a statement of intent from some of the most respected names in metal. It's not about nostalgia; it's about innovation and the future of metal as a creative force.Produced by Stu Marshall, who has worked closely with each vocalist to ensure that their contribution is both individual and integral to the whole, the album represents a new model of collaboration in heavy music. The CD bonus tracks is an alternate version of the song "Baptise This Hell", featuring The Aussie Alliance that’s consisting of Louie Gorgievski (Night Legion), Danny Cecati (Wicked Smile), John "Gio" Cavaliere (Black Majesty), Genevieve Rodda (Temtris), Anthony Fox (Temtris) and Aaron Adie (Elm Street).
