American melodic hard rock band.Only one album in discography band 'What's In A Name' in 1990 through FAD Records Inc.In 2005, the album was reissued by Retrospect Records, although it is unclear whether it was an official reissue, and in 2008, a reproduction album was released by Time Warp Records.

Album:

"What's In A Name" is a 1990 album by the band Walk The Chalk. This is the debut and only album by American hard rock band WALK THE CHALK.It is an extremely rare album among American hard rock bands, boasting unique content and rarity.I have only seen one copy on the Japanese used record market, which is pictured here, and I have never seen it on sale. It occasionally appears at foreign auctions, but at a very high price. In 2005, the album was reissued by Retrospect Records, although it is unclear whether it was an official reissue, and in 2008, a reproduction album was released by Time Warp Records. Currently, the album is difficult to find even at Retrospect. The first track, "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!", is honest and energetic, the second track, "Blood From Your Broken Heart," is calm, and the third track, "You're The Only One," is again melodic and energetic. The entire album is full of classic American hard rock songs. It is no exaggeration to say that this is a hidden masterpiece with no weak tracks. If you like the sound of bands such as SABER, CADILLAC BRATZ, or FIRE DEPT., be sure to give it a listen, perhaps even on the reissue.'Blood From Your Broken Heart' is a pretty power ballad, but there's another good songs in this album, good production with a vocalist very good! This melodic hard rock/AOR band has a sound in the vein of BON JOVI and BYSTANDER. With an upbeat summertime hard rock sound filled with energetic choruses and good harmonies. This is an enjoyable and refreshing rocker I highly recommend. I highly recommend this band Walk The Chalk and their one-off album "What's In A Name (1990)".The album is really amazing for both hard rock and melodic rock fans.
