Black Syndrome was formed by Bak Yeong-Cheol in 1986. A few months later, they changed some members and wrote songs for their 1st album. In 1988, Black Syndrome published their debut album 'Fatal Attraction'. Since then they've made nine albums, a live album and eleven omnibus albums. Over the decade they've played more than a thousand gigs. And also they released their 2nd and 6th album in overseas markets like Japan, UK, and France.

Black Syndrome were one of the early South Korean metal bands, and like their peers they borrowed heavily from the hair metal scene both in sound and in look.Black Syndrome come out of the gate fast and hard on second album with “Crazy Tonight”, establishing a fast pace and revealing that at all of their songs are sung in English. The guitar work is intricate and fast.This South Korean band in the late 1980s/early 90s knew how to rock!
