Bio:

Melodic hard rock band from Los Angeles, US.We were one of the most popular unsigned rock bands in Los Angeles back in the late 80's and early 90's, and we recently had our 20th reunion jam and decided to do a second CD.Our drummer Brett Myers, put a Brittania FaceBook page up for us on May 12th 2013, and in only three weeks, we had over 25,000 unique visitors further fueling our desire to get back in the studio to record this new second CD and re-release Third Degree. The first CD “Third Degree” was great, but it wasn't released in the U.S. due to the grunge rock movement that hit the same time we started shipping our first CD.We eventually got a recording deal in 1992 and signed a distribution deal with Mausoleum Records. They released our CD in 19 countries, but NOT in the U.S. Unfortunately, the Mausoleum record label we signed with at the time, went bankrupt and all of the original artwork is gone.We are not under any contracts with anyone for anything now, and with the changes in how music gets recorded and distributed, it only makes sense for us to record and release both CD’s as an independent label. If interest from a major label arises, we’ll be happy to talk with them.In fact, we found out that Warner Bros. was very interested in us during the height of our popularity (pre-grunge), but in the days before the Internet, record companies really had no way to find us if they were interested. Basically we were on tour all around the U.S. and would only roll into L.A. for a week or so to do a show and then back out on the road again. Also, the first time we sold out at the Whisky, they released the Rodney King verdict and our show was cancelled due to riots. What are the odds?We did win the Best Unsigned Battle of the Bands TWICE on KLOS, L.A.'s largest rock station, and to this day, our original CD “Third Degree” is rare and sells USED from $25 to $75 + shipping from overseas on eBay WHEN you can find them.

Album:

Debut and last album from 1994.Good decent melodic Hard Rock, miles away from many of his compatriots who practice such styles. Some stuff like the opening cut "Third Degree" is very good.Mix of older Fate,Guiffria and first Vice (Made for Pleasure). We headlined The Roxy, Whiskey a Go Go, FM Station, Troubadour, in other words, all the clubs in L.A.We won the Best Unsigned Battle of the Bands TWICE on KLOS (L.A.'s largest rock station) but in the days of pre-internet, record companies had no way to find us if they were interested. We found out that Warner Bros. was very interested in us a couple years after we left L.A. Just our luck. Also, the first time we sold out at the Whisky, they released the Rodney King verdict and our show was cancelled due to riots. We eventually got a recording deal in 1992 through Steve Reid at Lovin' it Productions and released by Mausoleum Records in 19 countries, but NOT the U.S. Grunge pushed all rock albums off the shelves in America.Bummer that our "AeroVanDefJonBonJourneyWagon" sounding band started shopping the day Pearl Jam & Nirvana topped #1. We were Doomed! We still hate grunge rock. We're in the studio now (June 2013) working on our second album. It will be a monster and will be available on iTunes by the end of the summer.
