Paolo Morbini (ex EVA,EXILIA,BRUNOROCK'S drummer), after a long experience made into many Milan 's area rock bands performing original material and cover repertoire from most famous rock bands of the world. Early 90's Paolo have been working in Milan for most important Musical Academy in Italy and there met brothers Stefano (keyboard) and Marco Andreasi (guitar) who were also huge Aor/melodic rock fans just like Paolo was and still is. Guido Priori (vocal) and Adalberto Rizzoli (bass) both grew up into many Milan's rock bands , were also oldest Paolo's buddies and sometime they jammed into various rock venue performing most of all songs from Toto/Journey/Survivor's stuff.Paolo, after many years of live playing (credited around at 2.500 dates today) decided to record first debut album under "MyLand" monicker asking the other members of the band to join his project. The album was wrote, arranged, mixed and produced by Paolo Morbini, himself and was recorded and mixed into some different steps, using 4 different recording studios one at the time. The band decided to collect on MyLand 's album their most important melodic rock musical influences, trying to capture the sounds as much as live they can concentrating their efforts on melody lines , powerful chorus/ vocals and instrumental parts as well. In the light of the fact that "MyLand" is still remains a project, all the members have actually busy with other bands on the road actually, even though Paolo has already wrote some new original material for a second MyLand album next to come. On 2007 MyLand (Paolo Morbini drums,Guido Priori vocals,Stefano Andreasi Keys and Marco Andreasi guitar), replace Adalberto Rizzoli on bass by Claudio Corazza and add guitarist Marzio Ker on studio session. On early 2007 the band signed a deal with millanaise indie lable Valery Records and have recorded their second AOR's killer album called "No man's land" out on sale on sept. 2007, worldwide distributed by Frontiers Records .The album was mixed by Marco Barusso at Massive Studios in Milan and mastered by Kee Marcello studio in Sweden. The album features also some great special guests ex-Europe guitarist Kee Marcello, swedish guitarist wizard Tommy Denander (Chicago, Toto, Richard Marx, Paul Stanley etc.),In 2009 Myland change Line up,.In 2010 the new band entered the studio to record their new album, 'Light Of A New day', will be' released by Point Music Germany, in 2011 hits the shelves, in the ensuing months, Myland are also published in Japan by Rubicon records, In the Japanese version there 's a song bonus track with the same name album' Light Of A New Day !!In 2013 joined the band are Paolo Morbini,Hox Martino,Davide Faccio,Fabian Andrechen and the new singer Ruben Sacco, and in June after some Liveshows, the album "Tales from the inner planet" Reviewed by critics worldwide in September 2014 Mark Lee,joined the band in place of Ruben ..and the adventures continue ! Album:

Back in 2008, 'No Man's Land', the second release from Italian AOR/melodic rock outfit Myland, made a sizeable impact on the European rock scene. Its tasty guitar work and big keyboards provided the perfect home for the vocal talents of the almost Steve Perry like Guido Priori and the album was met with almost universal acclaim, with Priori in particular being singled out as one of the main reasons for the band's success. Three years down the line Myland are back, but with a much altered line up and Priori nowhere to be seen. The two returning members are drummer Paolo Morbini, who actually put the band together in the first place, and guitarist Hox Martino. This time they are joined by Davide Faccio on keyboards, Fabian Andrechen on bass and vocalist Franco Campanella.*So with such a hard vocal act to follow, how does Franco shape up? Well not too badly actually. He may not have range and individual tone of his predecessor, however his David Glenn Eisley crossed with James Christian and Paul Shortino style does have bags of character and a powerful rasp that brings a bit more of a hardened edge to the music, although it does have to be said that he struggles ever so slightly with the long, high notes. So with the vocal position reasonably well filled, all that was needed was a set of songs that contained the same unbridled AOR enthusiasm and boundless melodic rock energy of 'No Man's Land'. It may come close, but 'Light Of A New Day' doesn't quite match up to its elder sibling, but that doesn't stop this album from being crammed with soaring keyboard led anthems a la Journey, Valentine or Zeno, and strutting riffs that remind of everything from Survivor to latter day Whitesnake. Add to that a sharp mix, courtesy of Marco Barusso, that gives the right amount of sheen to the songs while managing not to leave them toothless in their attack, and you have a real recipe for success. Martino once again proves himself to be a deft hand at firing out bright, sharp riffs and searing solos that aren't just there for show. He doesn't do all the work himself though, with new keys man Faccio adding those extra layers of atmospherics and embellishments that every good AOR really needs and both Morbini and Andrechen keep things steady with unfussy drum and bass work respectively, which is the base from which the bright song structures are allowed to grow.A quick listen to the guitar gallop of 'Shattered Dreams' or the keyboard infused 'Hey You' leave you in no doubt that Myland have once again produced an album full of classy, if ever so slightly generic AOR that will have fans of this genre frothing at the mouth, with the latter especially giving Campanella the opportunity to give one of his best vocal performances of the album. Not quite the underground classic that was maybe hoped for, but considering that this is almost a completely new line up for Myland, 'Light Of A New Day' still manages to hit the spot.
