Hard rock/heavy metal band from Gorinchem, South Holland.RANDOM is one of the hidden gems from the Dutch hard rock/metal ’80s underground.This compilation titled “Shout It Out” compiles their 1989 demo and the 1991 self-released album titled ‘The Payback’s A Bitch’. Additionally, there’s a bunch of previously unreleased tracks captured live, very well recorded.Despite this material was recorded between 1989-91 RANDOM play here melodic metal / hard rock like if it was 1983-1984. There’s a great twin guitar attack, a punchy rhythm section and gravely vocals that perfectly suits this NWOBHM influenced songs.They released a couple of demos in the 80's.

There’s a great twin guitar attack, a punchy rhythm section and gravely vocals that perfectly suits this NWOBHM influenced songs.What we like about RANDOM is the way they compose / arrange the songs – this is not uni-dimensional no-sense metal: there’s clean guitar passages, atmospheres, slow tunes, and a lot of melody.All of the recordings have been remastered / restored from the original source and now collected into this CD for the very first time on this Limited Edition CD, almost sold out.The first part consists of the 1991 album titled ‘The Payback’s A Bitch’, with a very good production. The EP demo from 1989 sounds like a demo however well performed & mixed, while the live tracks quality is very good.If you like classic, traditional metal / hard rock with that 1982-1984 feeling, you’ll love “Shout It Out”
