We will survive!Set in a post-apocalyptic future, we invite the audience into a unique interactive world, which will see theatrical live shows from the band and exiting media content on social media. For those who can not think of anything else, they seek their salvation in a wicked science fiction story, which has recently become applicable to budding (would-be) writers as well as being transferrable to the wider underground music scene. In their hard spectrum, CHONTARAZ recently introduced the public to a newcomer who takes the idea to the extreme with a larger-than-life image.The Norway-based musicians, who hide behind pseudonyms or fantasy figures from their self-invented universe (it is rumored that they are not unfamiliar names, which have already worked in other scene acts), soberly, are not creative geniuses. On the contrary, on their second album, they offer neat boredom in the form of reef-heavy hard rock or emphasizes "modern" melodic metal, mostly with a synthesizer foundation and always oriented to predictable patterns.When you hear the melodramatic bombast driver 'Blue Skies Turn Black' or the piano ballad 'One', you understand why, for example, Kamelot's Thom Youngblood is on the band. Elsewhere, the band works with screams and stupid nu-metal grooves that significantly reduce quality levels. After all, the songs are knitted too simple despite all the ornaments, which is why you have no desire to hear the thing several times.Accordingly, the bang effect, which CHONTARAZ, with its hair-drenched story in the nimbus of post-apocalyptic novels, or films like "Mad Max", initially inflicts. Ultimately, it depends on the quality of the songs first and foremost, no matter how you try to upgrade the whole thing.CONCLUSION: "Speed The Bullet" is less frivolous than CHONTARAZ 's debut therefore, but with all the adornment of the visual and conceptual variety is just another nasty bombastic metal album with many "extreme" stylistic devices, the simply long - lasting charming compositions missing.
