CROMONIC was originally formed in 2005 by a few members from the Swedish metal act Freternia. The band recorded a 3 track demo for promotional purposes and was featured in several metal magazines with very good response. Unfortunately the band split up in 2006 due to lack of time and interest. The band made a strong comeback in 2013 and with some new members in the band the CROMONIC army grew stronger than ever before. The band has recorded their debut album that is mixed and mastered by the legendary Thomas ”Plec” Johansson at The Panic Room. It will be available for the public this year. We are negotiating with a few different record labels but if we don’t find any deal that suits us we will release it through our own label.

European power metal is nowhere more conservative on the continent than it is in Sweden, where in 2017 still a lot of incorrigible musicians are still fond of the formulas of the early HELLOWEEN. This also includes these Swedes, who make a successful but albeit inflationary genre contribution with their debut.CROMONIC's singer Pasi is at the same time also a frontman of FRETERNIA and was previously at IRONWARE, so he knows best about the subject matter. His fellow musicians thank him by tailoring pieces on his body, which appear as sound genre business cards. "Time" bursts in front of epic in a compact format - no song but the widespread weakness (relative) 'The Hunt' crosses the mark of six minutes - and offers melodies that still sound relatively fresh, although they are typically forced to singalongs.However, CROMONIC can not be expected to perform on their native field. This also proves the fact that their own tracks are more exciting than the close-up FRETERNIA cover 'Dragonsong' at the end. Clearly, "Time" is an experiment-free zone, but honestly, the fact that colleagues like SONATA ARCTICA sounded more like test labs than serving the fan was not really worth it, right?CONCLUSION: Classic Euro Metal, above average in song and performance.
