SpiteFuel is a Heavy Rock Band from southern Germany (Heilbronn).Founded in 2016 by the ex-Strangelet-Members Stefan Zörner, Tobias Eurich and Finn Janetzky as well as Timo Pflüger and Björn Hessemüller. The five musicians working on a new record and Live shows.Due to powerful Guitars, Drums, the singing of Stefan Zörner and passionated Live performance SpiteFuel will rock the stages!

After the unfortunate disbanding of the promising band Strangelet, certain members of the band went out their way to recreate a group under the new title Spitefuel. With a heavier sound, the band are back with their debut album, Second To None.Second To None has a fairly standard heavy metal sound with a lot of emphasis in soaring vocals, heavy riffs and some lightning fast lead guitar moments. There are great moments of pure heaviness like the leading track Sleeping With Wolves that will please fans of old school heavy metal and some good melody to stop the album sounding like a bit of a one trick pony.The production is very well handled. The music has a great sound, one that sounds quite professional and just as good as the mainstream, or in some instances, better. Each instrument has plenty of room to breathe and the sound is just as pleasant when they’re working in sync with the other musicians.Second To None is an easy forty five minutes long with a selection of very good songs. Each tracks plays into one another very well creating the kind of momentum you want with such an energetic release. The only track I wasn’t so keen on was, Fly. The song is not necessarily a bad tune, I have heard a lot worse after all. But it felt a little out of place with the rest of the album and it could have benefited from being trimmed down a tiny bit.Spitefuel have a lot of promise and you just need to hear one or two of these songs to understand that. Second To None is not a perfect album nor is it entirely original in style but it is consistent, very well made and is a good time regardless. If anything, the band have created a solid platform for them to build upon with later releases and I do hope they do just that.
