Chicago’s own Emperors and Elephants is a hard driving modern heavy rock band in the vein of Alice in chains, Shinedown, and Seether.Formed in 2010, they have been gathering great momentum in Chicago and its surrounding area. Their song “Your Will” has been featured on Chicago area active rock stations 105.5 The KAT and WIIL Rock. The track gained so much attention from WIIL rock listeners that they were invited to play an on air performance.Emperors and Elephants draw their influence from 90′s grunge and blend that influence with the current hard rock scene. This unique combination gives them the edge of paying homage to some classic acts, yet blending it with the sounds of today to create an original sound that is lacking in the current music scene.With the recent addition of former Texas Hippie coalition guitarist Randy “The Arsonist” Cooper, they have put the finishing touches on their debut album “Devil in the Lake”, to be released by Pavement Entertainment in January 2014.

The unique vibe and sound of the band gives E&E a strong identity, which led directly to signing with Pavement Entertainment.Over time, Emperors Aand Elephants became a solid touring machine, its popularity soaring at every turn. Unfortunately, tragedy struck on the evening of August 13th, 2016, in Savage,Minnesota, when Jeff Windisch, lead guitarist and founding member, suffered a massive heart attack and passed away.After taking some much needed time to recover and heal from the devastating loss, the band decided to honor Jeff by keeping Emperors And Elephants alive. Long-time friend Anthony Modica stepped up to the plate and became a permanent member of E&E as lead guitar. Banding together, they have completed their highly anticipated follow-up album “Moth.” The album hits shelves today, March 17th.
