„We are Crossplane and we play Hard Rock and Rock`n`Roll.” Under this slogan the band is kicking ass since 2010.Crossplane was founded 2009 by Celli and Dirk. Both guys aren’t really unknown in the music scene:Singer Celli plays guitar in the band “Onkel Tom” with Tom Angelripper (Sodom) and Dirk smashed the bass-strings in “Ramonstars” leaded by frontman Andy Brings. Listening to the drums you’re getting the punch by Matthias, who also hits the drums in “Exumer”. This quartet is completed by Alex, who is responsible for the second guitar.In 2011 they released their self-produced first EP called “High Speed Operation”, which achieved consistently positive reactions in all music-magazines, e.g. Metal Hammer, Rock Hard and online-magazines.The year 2012 is running again by high speed and 100% voltage. Signing to the label 7hard the band is taking the next step in their career. A single from their upcoming album will come out this August featuring guest musicians, like Tom Angelripper (Sodom & Onkel Tom) and Christof Leim (The New Black & Sinner) and produced by Dennis Koehne (Ex-Woodhouse Studios). And of course a matching video clip will follow.Crossplane combines a successful mix of streetrock, punk and dirty Rock`n`Roll. They are burning down the stages. The incredible amount of almost 50 shows in only 2 years underlines this.The shows did not only take place in local venues, instead Crossplane tours through all parts of Germany. Upcoming shows are confirmed for Berlin, Bremen, Rosenheim, Thüringen and other cities. And right on time to start the festival season 2013 they can already confirm their appearance at the legendary Rock In Den Ruinen in Dortmund.You get more than expected, so watch out and be there if someone says: “We are Crossplane and we play Rock`n`Roll”

After their last long masturboned the four men from Essen already have the next floor in the pipeline. The good piece will be released in February and listen to the brief and concise title of Backyard Frenzy. The self-proclaimed hell-dogs attack 14 new songs and arrive at their record for more than 50 minutes of playing time, which is over 7hard to the Rock'n'Roll junkies.Love Or Hate - the motto of Backyard Frenzy? Could you possibly even in the form as the opener pretends. Although all fans of the songs on the title have nothing to complain about. The group from Essen catches the right style, which can clearly be associated with greats like Motörhead but does not necessarily have to. Loosely, but less sturdy than other acts, Crossplane allow a soft side too, which can also be different. Harmonically, Celli, Alex, Schluppi and Matthias never slip the reins. Backyard Frenzy may be classified as severely as Masturboned. I personally like the predecessor minimal better than the current compositions. Dance With The Devil, Reborn or Long Way Down still go down like oil. Handwritings like Blackness Of Souls do not quite meet my taste, but they provide variety, which is accepted with thanks and marked as "positive". It is nice to see that Crossplane without hesitation at Horizon two gears can switch back. A ballad that enriches the album Backyard Frenzy without further ado. The smoky Celli once loved, one can no longer let go of the honest souls - this also applies to the trio that accompanies him. By Horizon still tied, already the final part of the final spurt. Dr. Snowwhite is a groovy number, Killer's Diary has got a good shot of US Wüstensand, and Warlord makes Backyard Frenzy faintly ending.
