Year : 2017

Country : Brazil

Size : 152 mb

Bio:

A Brazilian Heavy Hard Rock band formed in 2014 by the singer Fabio Loffs.Since the beginning of the 90's he went through several bands without being able to realize his plans as a musician. So he decides what he up to now avoided, to form his own band.Influences of the fast and melodic Heavy Metal of Iron Maiden, Helloween and Stratovarius; Fates Warning's Progressive; Bon Jovi's Hard Rock and Skid Row; and Pop, New Age and Classical Music. But, without arresting any of them, nor making blends, nor creating a new style. The name is based on the Latin word, Caritas. It means Charity. Which is every act that seeks the good. Music is an Art. Art is an expression of emotions. That is the proposal: to thrill for good. Through the melodies, with the intention of being the most beautiful possible. Gain strength when the sound is heavy. Calm, when it's soft... And only positive lyrics.Recording from 2014 to 2015, playing all instruments (with some friends appearances). In 2017, the first album is released under the name "New Age - The Age of Karyttah". The first Single is the track "New Age" in promotional version.

Album:

Fabio Loffs comments on the album, and track to track:I do not like long albums. Usually, there are some songs just to fill, which are below the quality of others. But I also did not want to do an EP.There are 7 songs, Introduction, and Closing. Therefore, 9 tracks. They are the oldest songs I wrote, except for "Karyttah", composed during the recordings. I decided to put it, not only because it is the title song of the band, but as a challenge. Are not you going to get away from the others? The cover is based on the song "New Age". Which is also the title of the Album. But since the song title of the band was included last minute, I needed some way to include it as a title, so the subtitle. The recordings were very difficult. Not by having to play almost every instrument, but by having to create every detail of them. Every artist knows that he can not always materialize his art the way it comes in inspiration. That's a lot of work. That's what they call transpiration. The vocals were what worried me the most. Besides being what usually draws more attention. It's my real job. For the most part I already knew how it should be, but I did not know if I would be able to do it, because I had quite different ideas. Now whispered, now very soft, distorted, grave, sharp, etc. But, I think I have.I was happy with the result. Is that you?

[1] INTRO - THE NEW ERA:
The song "New Age" is based on some apocalyptic prophecies that say that the evil ones will be sent to inferior worlds, causing the Earth enters a new and good phase. The introduction cites two of these prophecies. I needed to have a dramatic mood in instrumental and recitation.

[2] New Age
The theme was presented in the introduction. At the moment the music that I like the most. I do not know exactly what style it is. It can be Heavy Metal, maybe Hard Rock, and in the middle with a progressive instrumental or New Age with the intention of passing a traveling mood.
I was very happy with the vocals. I got the softness in the voice I wanted for some parts. Henry's Special Participation
"Baboom" Canale on bass and keyboard, and Alex Andreoni (Santarém) on a wonderful solo.

[3] THE OTHER SIDES:
Older music I composed, so I believe, the one that most resembles some of my influences, in this case, Iron Maiden and Helloween. It's fast, you can say it's Power Metal. The lyrics talk about what appearances can deceive. Vowel whispered at first, voices in stereo, mood of suspense. When weight and velocity enters, vocal distorted acutely, but without exaggeration.

[4] ONCE MORE AGAIN:
Maybe it's the ballad of the album, or what comes closest to it. It has 3 phases. Part 1 is Pop, with great participation in the piano of the friend Priscila Mendes, the 2nd is Metal, and the 3rd Hard Rock, that is, several changes. Love. Talk about my various love frustrations. I hope one day to make a song that is a happy ending to it. For now, it still does not, Laughs. At the time of the hour I changed the vocal of the first part, also deciding to make more serious. I liked it, one more variation. I have a recording with the old vocals. Maybe I haul some Songle. Beautiful solo by Fernando Debuxe, and some ideas on the drums of Allan Juliano, colleagues of my former band Parallels.

[5] NEVER SAY NEVER:
It can be considered the heaviest music of all, a Heavy Metal, simple and direct. The theme is about life's unexpected changes. And, of course, the music also has rhythm changes. Detail for guitar riff-solo with notes out of time. When I recorded the technician thought I had it wrong, but I said it was anyway. I hope it does not frighten anyone who hears. Or better. What a scare, yes, laughter. Causing sensations. Art is for that.

[6] EXTERNAL SUGGESTIONS (External Suggestions):
It speaks of the various influences that we can have and that change our personality. Many of them without our realizing that they are not ours. We must be careful. Detail for the chorus in chorus, with some Backing Vocals from my friend-brother Dudu Firmo. And, my guitar solo. My job is to sing, but I needed a definite record as a guitarist. I realized myself. The end of the song intersects with the beginning of the next. Great feeling.

[7] THE END OF OUR LIVES:
It talks about death, and what may come after it. Music with more changes of pace, variations of climate, voices, styles, solos. Where it is clear my influence of progressive, mainly of the band Fates Warning. Keyboards by Daniel Coronado. Just fast from
According to what the change of pace asked, of Zé Langer. And another wonderful solo by Alex Andreoni, the best of the album, in my opinion. Oh, and my little one, laughter.

[8] KARYTTAH:
Soon after the most varied song of the album, to break a little, I put the most simple.
He says that charity is not a donation of material things, but rather an attitude of feeling good. Without much change, with detail to the chorus. Music with the ending mood of Show. Princip
