The band begins its activities at the end of 2012, with Leonardo Cenci on vocals, Samurai da Silva and Bruno Grapeggia on guitars, Lucas Dall'Agnol on bass and Ricardo Ghiouleas (Dica) on drums. With the intention of producing a modern metal oriented sound, the band begins to rehearse and soon performs at events in Veranópolis and region, only playing covers. However, the craving for authorial work soon arrives and soon the first compositions begin. The sonority, which mixes influences of oldschool heavy metal with modern, heavy drapery, baritone tunings and ripped vocals, begins to captivate fans soon in the early works. The formation of the band undergoes modifications in 2013, with the departure of Bruno. Lucas soon calls his bandmate Kelvin Salvetti to take over the other guitar and the sound begins to become more professional. In 2014 the recordings of the first album begin. Unfortunately, due to incompatibility with the other members, Tip was absent from the band in early 2015, leaving the sticks to Kelvin, who already played drums on another project, and consequently just a guitar on the front line, which did not faint In no way the sonority, but on the contrary, it increased the entrosamiento of the band live. The album is finally completed and released in August 2015 at JailHouse Rock. Produced by Roger Fingle in Caxias do Sul-RS. The name, The Pure Strain of Boozercore, is a joke with the term "Core", used in the most diverse genres of Hardcore. Currently the album plays in the radios of the region and podcasts online, emphasizing the tracks "Nemesis" and "Burn", sent on the English radio, England.FM. Critical and public assessment is positive in both composition and production. The lyrics deal with topics ranging from religion and politics to drug addiction and social injustice, to more "light" issues such as sex and bar fights in which members have already become involved. About influences, the band has Metallica, Pantera, Black Label Society, System of a Down and several Brazilian and world underground bands. But besides good old Heavy Metal and its many different ramifications, it also has elements of Hard Rock, Blues and even folk music.
