Beneath My Sins is a French symphony metal band founded in January 2016.In December 2015, the members of the last line-up of the band Evolvent have decided to create a new band closer to their ambitions and their approach to music. Together the four members have crossed Europe playing at festivals and concerts. They also released two albums, Human Instinct” in May 2014 and “Whatever Happens” in March 2015, for which Emma has written all the lyrics and Clement has brought his own songs.Thanks to the experience learned with Evolvent, Beneath my Sins now offers a free symphonic metal more mature, exploring all the possibilities of the kind.In Avril 2016, Beneath My Sins release their first music video and single “From the Flames”.

Symphonic metal with decent classical influences, from France.If the band Evolvent 2015 ceases to exist, decide the currently active members to continue under the name Beneath My Sins with the intention to follow a different musical direction. The songs on the debut album are almost operatic high sung by Emma Elvaston, occasionally slightly high, and then it becomes annoying. Solid pieces of music are well interspersed with strings and other classical elements. Spread Your Wings opens the album, and the first notes it seems like you're listening to a classic work. A full orchestra plays almost entirely instrumental piece.With heavy guitars From The Flames take the next spot, yet it is never really hard. The song remains high and fragile, and will remain so for the other songs. As mentioned, you have to love. In the song The Beauty In The Witch sitting spoken text fragments and some solid grunt work to make a pleasant surprise the song, at least in terms of vocals. A quiet piano intro is the beginning of Broken Pieces, a quiet song at the end what is likely to be bombastic, but it just is not. The vocals are formed at the end by what harmonies, what does it nicely varied. And then there is also a kind of duet in Endangered where the vocals of Elvaston is crossed by men, French, vocals.In less than an hour the band presents their debut album with the aim to familiarize the world with the new sound. The songs are well written, tightly orchestrated. The band will start in March with a Belgian-French tour, with the band Skeptical Minds. I wonder if the vocals live will reach as high as will sound on this album and how the orchestral parts. For now, the band gets the benefit of the doubt.
