AZEROTH is a heavy/power metal band from Argentina, formed in 1995, which released its first studio album, entitled “Azeroth,” in 2000. This album featured Christian and Adrián as guest lead vocalists. In 2001, Azeroth recorded the song “Rompe el Hechizo” on the tribute album by the Argentine band called “La Leyenda Continúa.” At the end of 2001 and during 2002, the second studio album called “II” was recorded, which was only released in 2008 and featured Hansi Kurch () as a guest musician on backing vocals. In 2010, the band's third album, “Historias y Leyendas,” was recorded, with Christian on lead vocals. In 2017, Fernando Ricciardulli, bassist and sole founding member of AZEROTH, brought together the current lineup of the band (Ignacio Rodríguez on vocals and guitar, Pablo Gamarra on guitar, Daniel Esquivel on drums, and Leonardo Miceli on keyboards), and in 2018 they recorded their fourth studio album, titled “Más Allá del Caos” (Beyond Chaos). After releasing a few singles reworking old songs during the pandemic, in 2022 AZEROTH premiered a couple of previews of “Senderos del Destino,” their fifth studio album, which will be available in October. In this album, the band incorporates new sounds and nuances, showcasing the compositional and interpretive growth of its musicians, defining and expanding the classic sound that the band has always cultivated.

7th full-length album (6th like original).Fabio Lione joined the recording of a new release "Trails of Destiny" for Azeroth, the power metal band from Argentina."Trails Of Destiny" is a good collection of fast and epic power metal with a powerful voice (with is kind of harsh in some occations, which gives the music a little pinch of aggressivity), a good proportion of keyboard sounds (which give the album that sense of epicity) and melodies that are worthy of an international power metal band. The music feels inspired and not only concerned in writing too poetic lyrics. I have to confess that, even being a native Spanish speaker, I didn't really pay so much attention to what the yrics said, but this is because of me since I don't really tend to take them into account when listening to music, so if you are like me, I suppose you´ll have no major problem when checking out the album.This album is kind of curious for me since despite the bad things I mentioned at the end, in general I liked this record pretty much. I mean it's NOT the best power metal album of all, but it's a great effort and really good material for all the fans of this subgenre. It's fast (most of it), epic, has powerful vocals and delicious melodies to listen to. However and to conclude with this, there was not a song that I liked the most and stood out for me either. I mean, this is an album that I'd rather listen to entirely instead of listening to a particular song of it. It's just a matter of "Oh, I don't have a favourite song, but the album is good to listen to, so let's play it". Do you get me?
