DreamGate is a Symphonic Power Metal band founded by keyboardist Alessandro Battini (Dark Horizon, Sangreal) and drummer Gianluca Capelli (former Dark Horizon, Arda) and completed by guitarist Armando De Angelis (Mindfar), bassist Micael Branno (Ghost City), and Fabio Brunetti (ex-Edran) on vocals. DreamGate offers a metal rich in influences, ranging from power to symphonic and stands out for its memorable melodies and lavish orchestral arrangements. The lyrics draw inspiration from historical events to literature, from video games to movies. The album includes the single "No Sweat No Glory", anthem of the famous Belgian football team Club Brugge. Dreamgate invite us into their musical world of heroic and epic themes, banners of power metal with strong symphonic overtones. The new bards are familiar faces, from Battini (Dark Horizon, Sangreal) to Capelli (Dark Horizon), as well as Branno (Ghost City), De Angelis (Mindfar) and Brunetti (Edran): of the series, union is strength. And it is precisely strength that is one of the salient features of this new project, the impetuosity and speed with which they brush up on the sounds of early Helloween and early Angra, thanks to the incessant drumming and symphonic raids that frame the debut of the Italian quintet. Author, among other things, of the anthem of the Belgian football team Club Brugge, 'No Sweat No Glory', a song that faithfully reflects our band's propensity for epic metal with elegant, never boorish traits. Dragonero' is a great title, and who knows, maybe one day a metal band will take a cue from it. 'The Lost Symbol', 'The All (The Magic Of The Silver Dew)' and 'Dreamgate' are a great listen for those who appreciate the genre, between power surges and celestial melodic openings. The only complaint is the final mixing, which seems to have lost the rhythm guitar somewhere.Dreamgate is a new sensational reality from the italian power metal scene, born in 2022.
