HARTLIGHT is a metal duet formed by a couple : Noémie Allet and Adrien Djouadou.We make music in our homestudio and want to share it with you! The name HARTLIGHT is born from the german word Hart and the english word Light to express the metling of softer genres with metal.

“From Midland And Beyond” is the debut EP from Swiss based HARTLIGHT, a female-fronted duo of vocalist Noémie Allet and multi-instrumentalist Adrien Djouadou. Signed by Wormholedeath Records, the band is being promoted as ‘symphonic metal’ but while there’s some elements of this genre, HARTLIGHT’s sound is much more than that.“From Midland And Beyond” has four tracks, but all are very different ranging from melodic metal to hard rock to pop and even with a goth touch. And if you think there’s too much genres involved to be good, just listen the EP and you’ll be regarded by a pretty original set of songs.Hartlight was born in the minds of Noémie Allet and Adrien Djouadou. They both met in the context of music and fell in love with each other. They both share a passion for music, anime, mangas, video games, and games in general. Noémie wanted to write and compose songs and Adrien proposed to do the arrangements and the instruments.After reading the fantasy manga ”Berserk” together, Noémie had the idea to create a full EP about this incredible story. This context made the duo go into a more metal style with symphonic elements to translate the epicness and emotions of the story.The linchpin of the four-song EP is singer Noémie, who – based on her clear singing – cannot deny a certain vocal proximity to Adrienne Cowan (Seven Spires, Avantasia). Her voice highlights charming opener “The Merrow’s Chant” and the upbeat conclusion “Into The Realm Of The Elves”, with all instrumentation provided by Djouadou creating strong atmopheres.“Be Blessed” is heavier with a muscular hook line and cool variations, catchy as whole. Stylistically, “The Eclipse” is out of the ordinary, in that the song chugs along darkly and with a slight sympho flair, but gains a lot of energy towards the chorus. There’s somewhat weird sound/vocals in the middle but that’s part of HARTLIGHT’s originality, and works.This is an interesting band new band, and “From Midland And Beyond” serves as a strong introduction to the band who is already working on a full length album.

This is the second album of Hartlight : "The Triumph of Metal".Hartlight is a symphonic metal band from Switzerland and France, whose powerful and mystical atmosphere conveys alchemical values.The female fronted metal band from Switzerland and France invites the listener on an emotional and spiritual journey into the ancient wisdom of esotericism with their unique and spellbinding sound.The band says about the song and video: “The song is an epic of courage and hope in the midst of darkness. It draws on the roots of alchemy in its quest to surpass oneself and transmute in order to lighten one’s being, free oneself from burdens and enjoy life with joyful passion. The music video, directed by Yohan Dully and Tiny Gigie, shows the band during an alchemical realization that brings to life the values the song wants to convey.”‘The Triumph Of Metal‘: the new album title references the Metal musical style of Hartlight in itself as well as the alchemical book of basile valentin: “The triumphal chariot of Antimony“. Antimony is a metalloid stone that is believed to be used in alchemy to produce the philosopher’s stone.This album goes further on everything the band started to introduce in previous release ‘As Above, So Below‘. It is a journey through a very diverse palette of emotions and atmospheres.Orchestral grandeur meets progressive elements and overall power and heavy sounding riffs with a more modern twist than before. The powerful voice of Noemie Marie sings poetic and enigmatic lyrics about self discovery and improvement, nature, history and, of course, alchemy.The album invites you for a travel that will start from the ancient wisdom of Europe’s alchemists, through concepts like the balance between order and chaos or the power of nature, up to the story of the woman samurai Tomoe Gozen in the final epic 11 minutes long track.Hartlight was born first as a studio project between Noémie Allet and Adrien Djouadou. Both met during their singing studies and they became a couple. At first, Noémie Allet was taking care of the composition and the lyrics and Noémie Allet was handling the arrangements, the instruments and the production. It’s with this disposition that they first release various singles like ‘Victorious Heart‘ or ‘Hartlight‘.In 2022, Noémie and Adrien read the manga Berserk together and they came with the idea of a Power Metal EP paying tribute to the work of Kentaro Miura. The EP ‘From Midland And Beyond‘ was born. It was released in December 2022 via WormholeDeath only in digital and has been well received by the critics.2023 is a calm year for the duo but they have in mind to create their first album and put a band together to play live. They release a tribute single to the game ‘Lost In Random‘ in December 2023 called ‘Roll The Dice‘. At that time Noemie expresses the desire for Adrien to compose music for her voice on her own lyrics. She also writes lyrics about more personal themes like Alchemy, Magic and introspection. Adrien wrote the music for the song ‘As Above, So Below‘ and they recorded right away. The new dynamic lead to the first album. It would be called ‘As Above, So Below‘ and it would be a concept album about Alchemy and Magic.They asked to Adrien Guingal to become an official guitarist for the band and he accepted. Adrien D. and Noémie respectively composed and wrote the album in two weeks and they recorded it all together with Adrien G. within three weeks. Now the band is preparing to play live ‘The Triumph Of Metal‘ will be released on February 28th, 2025.
