Bio:
Seven Metal Sins arrive on the European metal scene with focus and intent, turning years of experience into a sharp, no-nonsense artistic statement. The band was founded in April 2024 by bassist Stéphane Lacoude and drummer Patrick Soria, both formerly of French heavy metal outfit Manigance. From day one their goal was clear: a deliberate return to direct, high-impact songwriting where immediacy, identity and purpose come before excess. The lineup came together quickly. Guitarist Antton Iriart joined first, and his compositional direction became central to shaping the band's sound. Vocalist Claw-G. came on board in December 2024, bringing a dynamic delivery and expressive range that gave the material its defining edge. The arrival of second guitarist Frédéric Auclerc in March 2025 broadened the band's harmonic reach and added structural depth, kicking off a focused creative period that culminated in the debut single "Hypocrisy" released in April 2025.
Album:
Set for release on June 5, 2026 via Rockshots Records, "Legacy Of Chaos" is a tightly constructed debut that reinterprets the foundations of classic heavy and power metal through a sharper, contemporary lens. Built on precise riff-driven songwriting and dynamic rhythmic structures, the album sounds both forceful and clearly articulated from the first note.Rather than simply revisiting the past, Seven Metal Sins reshape its language. Galloping rhythms, aggressive guitar work and expressive vocal lines interact to strike a balance between impact and accessibility a combination that keeps the material both immediate and lasting. The album glides between high-velocity passages and more controlled, weight-driven sections, sustaining tension while sidestepping predictability.Lyrically, "Legacy Of Chaos" mirrors a world under pressure. Themes of environmental collapse, social fragmentation, authoritarian drift and unchecked ambition are explored through dystopian and science fiction imagery used not as escapism, but as a lens to magnify reality. The result is a narrative framework that feels grounded and urgent, reinforcing the emotional core of the record. The production follows the same philosophy of focus and clarity. Mixed by Jérémie Garat (Reseda Prod) and mastered by Simon Capony at Basalte Studio, the album achieves a powerful yet well-defined sonic balance where every element contributes with precision. Marco Orlando's artwork and layout complete the picture, visually reinforcing the album's conceptual direction.Across eleven tracks, the record unfolds with strong internal coherence from the atmospheric opening "The Fall" through standout cuts like "Scars of Injustice", "Hypocrisy" and "Wolves of the Last Dawn", before reaching its more expansive conclusion with "King of Sorrow".With "Legacy Of Chaos", Seven Metal Sins don't just introduce themselves they set a clear trajectory. It's a debut that prioritizes substance over excess, precision over ornament, and delivers a focused statement of intent within today's heavy metal landscape.
