Genghis Rex is an all Filipino high voltage elusive OPM and classic rock tribute band from Edmonton, Alberta CA. Formed in the spring of 2012 and the band was already been playing in local Filipino community gigs since then. Band members are Lemmy Gutierrez (vocals/guitars), Eric Nanolan (drums), Enrico De Dios (lead guitar), and Jong Jania (bass). All are seasoned musicians even from their respective homeland. The band's musical influences are Juan dela Cruz Band, Maria Cafra, Sampaguita, Asin, Wolfgang, Razorback, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and a whole lot more.
