The band made their European debut at the Keep It True Festival in Germany in November 2005, where they stunned the crowd. After releasing Road Of Bones in 2005, and the departure of vocalist Erika Tandy, Ignitor solidiered on, writing and recording their next full-length release, The Spider Queen, while searching far and wide for a new vocalist. Album:

The seventh album of the Austin, Texas metal titans Ignitor titled The Golden Age of Black Magick will be released this Halloween through Metal On Metal Records.Commented the label: "The new anthems sound classic and aggressive, and possess this special magic that marked most of the US power and heavy metal created during its golden age. It's an intense album with rampaging riffs, infectious melodies, high-pitched, unpolished vocals by the veteran of the scene Jason McMaster, and a dark edge that should appeal to the fans of bands like Attacker, Dio, Riot, Skullview, Aska, Cage, Rainbow, Iron Maiden, Phantom-X, Jag Panzer and Judas Priest."The label has recently published the music video for the title track created by the band's guitarist and founding member Stuart "Batlord" Laurence, and now added also a static clip with the song "Stoned At The Acropolis". The aforementioned songs plus "Secrets Of The Ram" can be streamed from Bandcamp. The cover art was painted by the label's owner, Jowita Kaminska-Peruzzi (Exodus, Attacker, Witchburner, Midnight Priest, Manilla Road, Forsaken, Deceased, Meliah Rage, Arkham Witch, Metal Law ).

The artwork and tracklisting can be viewed below.

Album:

Returning with their latest call-to-arms, Texas metal warlords IGNITOR are once again battle-ready with the release of their eighth album, "Horns and Hammers". They raised the bar high with its predecessor, but have managed to surpass it in terms of varied songwriting, clever arrangements and storm-the-gates delivery full of dramatic power and fury. Honoring their influences, they mix raging US power and classic heavy metal, spike it with the intricate dynamics and melodies of NWOBHM, and add a pinch of thrash along with the atmospheric textures of prog metal. Although the band has been around since 2003, one listen will make you swear they've been forging metal since the '80s, also because of their respect for tradition in their sound. Charging and pounding like clashing titans, the five-piece always delivers with shuddering impact. This metal onslaught boasts blistering, soaring, yet often hoarse vocals from veteran screamer Jason McMaster, scorching dual melodic leads, solid riffs and enough thunder to plunder you asunder. If you grew up listening to bands like ATTACKER, DIO, RIOT, SAXON, JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, ACCEPT, JAG PANZER, RAVEN, and also love SKULLVIEW, ASKA, CAGE or PHANTOM-X, you can't go wrong with this one.Album released October 3, 2024.
