Album:
With a sound rooted in the sharp steel of 80s NWOBHM, combined with speed metal energy, powerful riffs and melodic guitar work, RATTLESNAKES deliver a modern take on the true spirit of British heavy metal.“These guys are pure NWOBHM! (...) Rattlesnakes are the real deal!” 9/10 – Powerplay Magazine UK."This fresh british band prove that they are made for the future. The voice of singer Rowena Neale is absolute unique. Super!!”.When the twilight becomes a musical score, the mysterious threshold where dusk dies and wakefulness is reborn gives birth to Rattlesnakes, to clothe metal in black velvet.Rattlesnakes, the eternal guardians of midnight, return this coming October 30th with their most unabashedly earthy work: «Shadows in the Night.» An album that feels like an icy caress on the neck, a sigh from the night breeze that quickens the pulse of true heavy metal devotees. The whisper of the night and the magic of the abyss feel like that bone-chilling cold from the first chord. The album envelops us in a cloak of darkness where the shadows don’t frighten, but rather offer refuge. It’s a mystical embrace between the heaviness of the riffs and the fragility of the soul that seeks answers when the world sleeps. The riffs of destiny transform into arpeggiated guitars that resonate like ancient chants, giving way to solemn distortions that seem to invoke the presence of forgotten spirits. The Voice Among the Shadows translates into a vocal performance that travels with tragic elegance, navigating effortlessly between the roar of the tide and the sweet warmth of a whispered confidence.A hypnotic and visceral atmosphere pervades the rhythm section. It beats with the cadence of a heart in love with the darkness, guiding us through passages where the moonlight is the only permitted beacon. There is a sublime beauty that repeatedly compels us to lose ourselves in the darkness, because it is only there, under the dominion of shadows, that our true longings shine with the intensity of a thousand stars.A symphony for nocturnal hearts, «Shadows in the Night» is an invitation to dance with the ghosts of the past and celebrate the hidden poetry that dwells when the sun sets. Rattlesnakes has forged a majestic work that is, at once, a thunderous blast of pure heavy metal and a love letter to the mysteries of the night.Prepare your souls for October 30th, because when the clock strikes midnight, the shadows will finally reveal all their secrets.Don’t know them? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered…RATTLESNAKES, who debuted in 2024, are rapidly rising to the top of the heavy metal scene and earning a reputation as one of the most exciting and refreshing emerging hard rock/heavy metal bands in the UK. After signing with Listenable Records in January 2026, RATTLESNAKES continues to prove its potential as a key name in the metal scene. With a sound that evokes the sharp edge of 80s steel and a modern touch of speed metal prowess, this band continues to break stereotypes without losing the essence of true heavy metal, paving the way for 21st-century female-fronted bands and serving as an inspiration to many.
