Band Santos - São Paulo - formed in mid-1999 in order to make a traditional heavy metal with weight and melody.During these years, the band performed in some cities of Santos, inside and outside the state of São Paulo, suffering some changes in the formation, and Bil is the only member of original.Nesse time training the band released two cd' s demo, the first self titled and the second with the title of Burns On Heavy Metal.
Currently, DARKWITCH has the following members:
• Bil Martins (vocals and bass), former Prohibition, Heavenly
Kingdom, Dittohead, Vector.
• André Kreidel (drums), former Prohibition, former Blackmail, Dreamland.
• Cesar Breaker (guitar), former Rising Ravage.
The compositions of the Dark Witch on themes of Norse mythology, Celtic, magic and fantastic themes in songs that can be interpreted as short stories, making analogy with what we have today.In 2010 the band concentrated on recording and mixing of their first album, which will have the title "Between Magic and Steel", the promotion of some tracks from the same and the composition of new songs.So the Dark Witch continues to follow with conviction what practices and believes, the HEAVY METAL above all!
