Bio:

Formed in spring 2003, by drummer Mirko and bass player Daniel. Then Omar, who had played with Daniel in a gothic band, joined as guitar player, with Jacopo on the keyboards, and at last, Annalisa on vocals. They played their first gig at the Ep Metal Fest in Mortara (Pv). Paolo initially guested on some live shows, but then joined as lead guitarist to complete the band.At the end of summer 2006, Marble decided to take a break, and Annalisa, Mirko and Jacopo left the band. Omar, Paul and Daniel continued, soon joined by Gianluca Bassignani, and Jack Cherubini.MARBLE are back! The melodic metal band from north Italy will present their new opera, the following to 2008 “A.t.G.o.d.” (Y Records/Warner) and the 2010 self titled Ep. The new Album is named “S.A.V.E.”, will present a lyrical connection between the songs, focused on the three theological virtues and the seven deadly sins. The new members, Eleonora Travaglino on vocals and Norman Ceriotti (Defamed, Roll for Initiative) along with founders Paul Beretta, Omar Gornati on guitars, Daniel Fleba on bass and Jacopo Marchesi on keyboards, will blend both melody and aggressiveness into a mix of melodic choruses, heavy guitar, technical rhythms and keyboard harmonies. The album has been produced by Giulio Capone (Moonlight Haze, ex Temperance, Bejelit). The Artwork for “S.A.V.E.” will be created by the great finnish artist Jan Yrlund of Darkgrove.net, which will also create their first lyric video.

The new album from North Italian melodic metal act Marble is called S.A.V.E.. It presents a irrepressible mix of heavy guitar riffs, powerful aggressiveness, amazing guitar solos, surprising keyboard harmonies and original technical rhythms, blended with Eleonora’s breath-taking, catchy melodies and epic choruses.S.A.V.E. will thrill fans of both melodic and extreme metal music. The album lyrics are focused on human behavior and entwined with the three theological virtues and the seven deadly sins in a gloomy and decadent mood.

Formed in the spring of 2003 in Mortara, Italy, Metal female fronted band MARBLE will release next month their third installment, entitled ”T.I.M.E.” The record presents an irrepressible mix of heavy guitar riffs, powerful aggressiveness, amazing guitar solos, surprising keyboard slpashes and original technical rhythms by Paul Beretta and Omar Gornati on the guitars, Jacopo Marchesi on keyboards, Daniel Fleba on bass and Norman Ceriotti on drums, blended with frontwoman Eleonora Travaglino’s breathtaking, catchy melodies and epic choruses.”T.I.M.E.” is a concept album revolving around female characters in the history of western theatre, marking the time in the stylistic evolution of stage performances, starting with the ancient Greek tragedy of Euripides, passing through the British theatre of William Shakespeare, to the Russian social revolution of Anton Čechov, and on to the modern American theatre of Samuel Beckett.Musically MARBLE isn’t afraid to navigate different metal styles, resulting into an effective mix of power, melodic heavy and symphonic metal, with catchy choruses, bold verses and riffs, and an overall grandiose prog metal tone to it. There are some huge, high-pitched and perfectly clear vocals (not operatic), nice melodies and a bunch of interesting stories.The whole ”T.I.M.E.” has a never-ending energy, with its fast, powerful verses / choruses and wild riffs. The vocals are ever present, multi-tracked and appearing on both sides of the stereo creating a surround effect. Eleonora’s energetic delivery expresses all emotions loudly and often sounds like it’s trying to out-fast the instruments, also contributing to give this album its great punch and bombastic sound.Aside from their energy and blend of different styles, the band showcases their creativity by also making more complex and epic songs. The alternations between tight blastbeats and melodic openings are the hallmark of Marble’s sound, focusing on the album ‘T.I.M.E.’ on vocal arrangements and melodic interlocks between guitars and keyboards.The album was produced by the band itself and mixed by Marco Zanibelli (Myriads Lights) at SunDowner Studio and seals the graphics with the stunning cover artwork by Greek artist Giannis Nakos of Remedy Art Design (Kamelot, Evergrey, Amaranthe).Let the curtain open and let the music of Marble transport you to the stage via its heavy melodic elaborated music.
