Scars of Solitude is a melodic metal band from Äänekoski playing music rooted deep in the Finnish melancholy. The band was formed in January 2015 and has stood firmly and proud behind its music ever since. Their music sounds like autumn - it's kinda dark, rainy and cold but still rich in both beauty and colour despite all the despair. Having their debut album, Deformation, released in the end of 2017, Scars of Solitude went on a year long hiatus and through a couple of line-up changes the year after. The band made a strong comeback in early 2019 with two new single releases as a trio Laulainen taking the vocalist duties and Kuivakangas and Pollari remaining alongside him. After a successful search for guitarist Jasper Ranta-Nilkku joined the bands forces as a guitarist. "- - Scars of Solitude is a band that has a lot to offer and, instead of focusing on one aspect and delivering it well, they can change to a completely different style with no sound of staggering or being uncertain; their album will be something to be anticipated of!"

Second full-length album.Scars of Solitude is a quartet hailing from Middle Finland. In their music a wide range of metal genres shake hands with lyrics dealing with self-reflection, -loathing and -destruction. When typical melodic metal bands come marching to the stage clad in armor and swords drawn like leather wearing heroes, Scars of Solitude does the exact opposite. There’s nothing heroic about them, just four guys on a mission to show you the futility of life through beautiful melodies and punchy grooves.Scars of Solitude was formed in 2015 in Äänekoski and after various forms and numerous changes in the line up they have now found their own voice. With the new coming in 2019 they have shown they are stronger, better and more able than ever on stage. On the new decade the band will show the world it is indeed possible to march from victory to victory even with a rope around their necks.
