They toured the East Coast in 1989 and made their way into the US Charts. Back in Europe, they recorded the album «Rated X», produced by Rudy Lenners (SCORPIONS).In 1991, after playing at l’Usine in Geneva, they recorded the live album «Wild, Raw and Live».In 2013 Rash Panzer released the album «Back on the Rocks», again with Denis Weinreich. In 2022, Rash Panzer chose REC Studio with producer Serge Morattel (Lofofora, Knut …) to record their album "Liberation" in 2023, just before getting signed by famous german label 7HARD.Since November, they released 3 singles-video-clips : "Reason", "Rock On" & "Wild Roses", while they've got back with Serge Morattel to record the new EP to be released in 2024: "Born to Rock'n Roll".
Album:
RASH PANZER is a Swiss band that has experienced many ups and downs since its formation in 1979. At one time pushed by Nono of Trust (in the '80s), the band has now been reborn with an album entitled "Back on the rocks".No surprises here! In this opus, we find the traditional rock / hard-rock of those years. TRASH PANZER doesn't renew the style, but simply spins riffs like in the good old days. Thus we find influences from Trust / Speed Queen ("Gimme Some Light Tonight", ), AC/DC / Rose Tatoo ("More & More"), punk-rock ("Naughty Woman", "Dance to Death", "Freedom & Happiness") and also heavier tracks like "Uncle Sam is Gone" and "Flashback".What "Back on the Rocks" lacks is consistency. The tracks follow one another, but they're not all of the same quality. With the exception of "Gimme Some Light Tonight" and "More & More", the rest of the album struggles to engage us. Add to this an average production and you've got yourself a non-event for the return of RASH PANZER.
