Chemia is a rock band formed in 2010 in Warsaw. The band’s music, which eventually crystallized in 2012, is inspired by the classic rock from the Beatles to Led Zeppelin and the achievements of post grunge music.Chemia creates mainly in English.

Not every band wants to convey something. We do. The latest album is kept in the spirit of respect for your own individuality. If you’re happy with yourself, you will be able to express it. The world is trying to dress us in identical gowns and change in workers of one big factory. And yet we are not all the same. We, through our attitude, who we are outside the rehearsals and the concert, try to show that you can do things your way, fight and not hurt anyone at the same time. Go where no one has gone before and try things that others are afraid of.Respect yourself and your individuality. Don’t hurt anyone. Be yourself, be for yourself and others - thanks to that you will know who you are and we will know who you are.
That is what the new album will be about, if not all future albums;)And on the whole… we would like to write in the future the best song in the world.A song that will make unkind people stop killing little kittens for ever.
*History*
The band started touring in 2010. The founder and leader of the band is Wojciech Balczun, who then invited among others Marcin Koczot (vocals) and Zbyszek Krebs (guitar) to cooperate.This year, Chemia releases its first album - “Dobra Chemia”, and a year later the re-edition album under the name ‘O2’ with a new vocalist - Łukasz Drapała.The band’s music began to change and in spring 2012 Chemia recorded the extended play album “In the Eye” in Vancouver - at the invitation of local promoters. Moments later, the band parted with Zbyszek Krebs and invited Maciek Mąka to cooperation.In autumn 2012 Chemia is going again to Canada to The Warehouse Studio to realize its second longplay album.
In spring 2013 on Antyradio you can hear for the first time “Ego” (My ego) - a single promoting the new album of the band. The track also announces a new style of the band. There is a new character in the team - Ralph James (Nickelback, Billy Talent), who becomes a new agent of the band.

- performances during Ursynalia in 2012 and 2013, Jarocin Festival 2013, Lemon Festival in 2012 and 2013, Seven Festival Węgorzewo 2011 and 2012, Rocket Festival 2013, Impact Festival 2012, Legends of Rock in the Charlotte’s Valley, Juwenalia (Warsaw, Lublin), May Rock Festival (Germany), Kaarst Totall (Germany), opening for Guns’n’Roses and H-Blockx, author’s concerts in Germany and Canada (Dusseldorf, Toronto, Vancouver)…
- as one of the few young rock bands, Chemia appeared on TV among others in Sylwester z Polsatem, Lato Zet i Dwójki, Hity na czasie, Miss (Supernational, Teen) Election…
