Founded in July 2001, published Badhoven the debut album "Behind The Masquerade" in October deselben year. The European trade press gave the new CD consistently good to very good reviews. Even from LA was a very detailed and excellent review again! First radio interviews followed, whereupon Badhoven was listening to some private broadcasters in Germany, Holland, England, Italy and Austria. 2003 Badhoven was also known in South America. On Rockum magazines it was long No. 1 on the charts, and the front of a well-known band like Skid Row! Radio airplay followed in Peru (Lima), Argentina and Brazil.2004 is another year, much has changed this time around and also in the band. In autumn, the band started the recordings for the new album - even with the knowledge that co-founder Jacky Greil Berger would leave at the end of the year the band for professional reasons. The recordings were completed in late 2004. Live they played in this occupation one last time before the Austrian Hard Rock Legend No Bros in Vienna Planet Music. Die-hard fans themselves came from the approximately 800 kilometers from Heidelberg (Germany) to experience one of the best concerts of Badhoven.005 was the season of "Believe". September 2007: After a long search is now Jürgen "Jorgino" Ehrenmüller BADHOVEN the new bass player.April 2008: The Belgian guitar virtuoso Wim Roelants, already with stars like Phil Campbell (Motorhead), Virgil Donati (Steve Vai), Dario Lorina (Warrant), Uriah Heep, Ritchie Kotzen (Mr. Big), and other great musicians and bands played together beginning of April rose as a sideman in the band to support Badhoven mainly live on lead guitar. It's incredible how quickly Wim integrated into the band, and how he so Badhoven catapulted to an even higher level. The first official gig in this new occupation took place on 16 April 2008 at the Vienna PLANET MUSIC as support for GRAHAM BONNET (Rainbow, Alcatrazz, MSG, ..) instead, and was an immediate success!May 2009: For professional reasons, Jürgen Müller Honor leaves the band. But now BADHOVEN found with Erwin Egger light on the bass more than a replacement. His influences from the metal and his flair for excellent bass arrangements can rock again BADHOVEN evil.
