Bio:
Formed in late 2009, the members of Syn City Cowboys started the group after leaving other local Kansas City rock bands. They immediately entered the studio to begin recording their self-produced and engineered debut album, Blow Me Away, which was completed in late 2010. In their hometown of Kansas City, Blow Me Away became an immediate favorite of local rock fans, and the album gained the attention of several music industry professionals. Their first radio single "Control Freak" reached number 91 on Billboard's Mediabase Active Rock Chart Top 100.The Cowboys just finished recording their second album at the Sonic Ranch in El Paso, Texas with legendary A&R/Producer Tom Zutaut who signed such acts as Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue, Metallica, and Tesla, just to name a few. Tom has been working with the band for the last year and has great expectations for their continued success. Once the new album is released in the fall of 2012, the Cowboys are planning a nationwide promotional tour and possibly to include Europe. The Syn City Cowboys have performed with such National Acts as: Pop Evil, Black Stone Cherry, Powerman 5000, Alien Ant Farm, All That Remains, Egypt Central, Veer Union, Burn Halo, Kyng, Edisun, Nigel Dupree, Janus, and Silverstein. Currently, Syn City Cowboys are playing shows throughout the Midwest and rapidly expanding their fan base. Hard at work, the Cowboys are becoming a powerful and influential force in the midwestern modern rock scene. With catchy, hard-hitting songs that leave fans begging for more, the Syn City Cowboys are destined to become a household name in the coming years.
