FESTERGUTS was founded in 1993 by guitarist Sergey Vasilyev and vocalist Michael Nickolayev. The main conception of FESTERGUTS music is to combine death metal with necro lyrics and keyboards atmospheres. Festerguts released two tape releases "Delicious Evisceration" (1995), "Bloodsoaked" (1998) and promo CD (2004). Few tracks were published on international Cd compilations. Band played many concerts in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Germany. Festerguts song “Besmeared With Blood And Viscera” was used as soundtrack in Canadian horror movie “Sinners And Saints”.
