In 2014, from the ashes of the Buttered Bacon Biscuits (BBB), were born the WITCHWOOD. BBB released in 2010 the album "From the solitary woods", distribuited by "Black Widow Records" and positively reviewed by many italian and foreign music magazines and websites (Metal Maniac, Rock Hard, Metal Hammer, Jam, Classix, Rumore, W.S., Rockerilla, Italian Metal, Heavy Impact, Perkele.it and many others). BBB have played in many gigs around Italy, also supporting important bands like Uriah Heep, Jethro Tull, Bud Spencer Blues Explosion, etc... BBB also released in 2013 “A National Acrobat” cover for the Black Sabbath tribute “Hands of Doom” for Mag Music Production. After the split, some members of the band, Ricky, Andy, Steve and Sam, have decided, with the entry of new members Luca Celotti on bass and Antonino Stella on guitar, to start a new project, the WITCHWOOD. All musicians, active for decades, with past recording experience with band like Bad Ambition (Andy), Excrucior and Witche's Brew (Ricky) and collaborations with artists like Martin Grice (Delirium) and Nik Turner (Hawkwind). Is planned for the spring of 2015 the release on CD and double LP, for the Italian label Jolly Roger Records, of the new album "Litanies from the woods", ten tracks, a mix of hard rock, progressive, psych and southern. Vintage and obscure atmospheres with a 70's attitude. Stay tuned!

Italian dark progressive rock band Witchwood has a new album titled Litanies from the Woods.The debut album “Litanies from the Woods” includes ten tracks and is a well-balanced combination of hard rock, progressive rock, psychedelia, blues and southern rock with a dreary and vintage 1970s atmosphere. The instruments used include Hammond organ, piano, Moog synthesizer, flute, harmonica, and mandolin.Witchwood was born from the ashes of the Buttered Bacon Biscuits, who released one album in 2010 titled “From the Solitary Woods.” The band played live as guest in Italy for Uriah Heep and Jethro Tull.After the the Buttered Bacon Biscuits disbanded, some members of the band, Ricky (also in Witche’s Brew), Andy, Steve and Sam, joined with new member Luca Celotti on bass, to form Witchwood.
