This project born in 1995 in United States.And debut "Sahara Snow" is a studio album released by Sahara Snow, a collaboration between Rick Springfield, Bob Marlette and Tim Pierce in 1997 through MTM Music and again issued in 2005 through SPV GmbH Records.
Rick Springfield (born Richard Lewis Springthorpe; 23 August 1949) is an Australian musician, singer-songwriter, actor and author. He was a member of the pop rock group Zoot from 1969 to 1971, then started his solo career with his début single "Speak to the Sky" reaching the top 10 in Australia in mid-1972, when he moved to the United States. He had a No. 1 hit with "Jessie's Girl" in 1981 in both Australia and the US, for which he received the Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. He followed with four more top 10 US hits, "I've Done Everything for You", "Don't Talk to Strangers", "Affair of the Heart" and "Love Somebody". His two US top 10 albums are Working Class Dog (1981) and Success Hasn't Spoiled Me Yet (1982). As an actor, he portrayed Dr. Noah Drake on the daytime drama General Hospital, from 1981 to 1983 and during 2005 to 2008 and 2012, returning in 2013 for the show's 50th anniversary with son and actor Liam Springthorpe. In 2010, Springfield published his autobiography, Late, Late at Night: A Memoir.

Sahara Snow is the self-titled album by a one-off melodic rock project released in 1997, featuring Australian singer Rick Springfield, producer/keyboardist Bob Marlette, and session guitarist Tim Pierce. The album served as an unofficial comeback for Rick Springfield, who had taken a long hiatus from recording after his 1988 album Rock of Life featuring eight tracks re-mixed from recordings made whilst the trio were playing together between around 1992 and 1994—as well as songs originally intended for his solo albums, making a total of 12 tracks.Mark Spiro also features on the album.The original release on the MTM label in 1997 sold out immediately, so this is a reissue from 2005.A kind'a Supergroup which only got together for this one-off shot. Sad really as this is one great album. Most of the suspects here though have very successful careers in their own rights so I guess it was not going to be a long-lasting affair. Maybe one day they'll release some 'vault' stuff or another album together? Anyway, traversing a Westcoast & AOR/Melodic Rock spectrum these guys made sure both camps had their fill. IMO I would recommend it to anyone into the genre/s.This is an absolutely enjoyable cd. A definite must for any fan of Rick Springfield. It is much harder than any of his previous albums. It Does Rock. Not like Journey more like Def Leppard. In such a good way though. This is such a perfect collaborative effort between the artists involved in this project, lots of emotion. One of those you roll the windows down and crank it up.
